When we got our car from nissan there were a lot of known probs with the model so when it went in to be fixed we also mentioned it shook at 80+. They balanced and tracked the wheels to no avail. In the end they swapped our front wheels with the brand spankers
off their demo car and now it doesn't shake. On closer inspection they said one of our front wheels was buckled.
May I ask what model that was and how long ago?
We're still having problems with vibrating so my next move is to ask Kwik Fit (they are happy to keep doing this till I'm "happy" with it) to take a look at the rear tyres and balance those, and check if any are buckled. If so, the buckled ones should go on the back... correct?
where does this laser alignment come into play??0 -

Its a Nissan 350Z and we got this problem fixed in February. We got all our work done under warranty as the car is less than 3 yrs old. I believe buckled wheels shouldn't go back on the car, they should be replaced (but i'm not sure):heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. well i took mine to the garage to have an ABS sensor replaced and asked them to check for anything to explain the shaking. 3 buckled wheels 'like a clowns car' so it was a new set of alloys for me0
