Liverpool Advice please

I have 48 hours in Liverpool from next Wednesday afternoon (getting in Lime Street at 3pm) and leaving at 4pm Friday (bargain GNER tickets and Travelodge tenner !)

I have looked at the Liverpool tourist website, and know that I would like to go to Beatles Experience, Albert Docks area and perhaps a tour of Annfield.

Could someone advise me what is 'dooable' in a day, taking into account I arrive at 3pm one day and will be limited to what I can do that day and only having one full day ?

I have no idea where anything is in relation to each other. Any local knowledge and itinerary suggestion would be great

Thanks in advance :)

If it's really cold and you need to get out of any bad weather, the Magical Mystery Tour (I think that's what it's called - it's a yellow bus that takes you around where the Beatles lived etc) is worth an hour or so ... :)

Get an all zones travel ticket, cost £3.70 then you can use the buses ferry and train all in the greater Merseyside area.
Tso's Chinease about 2 mins fom the travelodge for food all you can eat for £6, and for Breckfast try weatherspoons, open from 8am.
There is a tourist information office not far from the lodge, they will tell you all you need to know.....Have a nice trip

Ferry across the Mersey? That was brilliant :D (I don't get out much ;))

But in a weekend we also managed two plays as well (Can't recall the theatre names, just remember one being glass fronted at the top  )
