Oh right, fair enough, I'd proably do the same, but I am glued to my computer :rotfl:Most of the time when I've bought things I've bought more than 1 item from the seller and needed an invoice showing the combined postage. Probably says more about my binge buying instincts than anything else!
If there was a rule saying you must pay within (say) 2 days and I knew I couldn't get back on-line before then then I just wouldn't bid - would improve cash flow but possibly reduce selling prices.
Maybe if ebay could show on the summary page when the buyer last logged on it would give sellers confidence that the buyers weren't intentionally avoiding paying but just hadn't been able to get online? This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. You get 7 days to pay, what happen if nothing after seven days?
I sold an item last Tuesday evening. I have sent the invoice and an e-mail thanking them for bidding and winning at the end of the auction.
I have heard nothing from them and will be sending another e-mail tonight. I'd like some help with the wording if possible. Basically I just want to advise them of their winning bid and its now been seven days since the end of the auction and when can I expect payment etc£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4 .............................NCFC member No: 00005......... .............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

I usually send a polite email (via the ebay system) along the lines of 'hi, I notice that this item remains unpaid, if you need further assistance with payment information or are unable to make payment within the next 48 hours could you please let me know. Then I just slam in an NPB on day 7 or 8.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's an obvious thing to do- to pay straight away if you're at the computer however for example I use sniper for most of my items I bid on and most of the time I'm away and may not check ebay until some days later, gprs on my phone is really slow and would take me ages to check ebay and then load paypal page to pay especially I know I have 7 days to pay. Some people may also wait to be paid themselves first, there can be many reasons. As a seller if I need a quick transaction I set BIN with immediate payment required.0

You can get websites or programs to place bids for you just a few seconds before the end of the auction. What is sniper???
In general though: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auction_snipingThis is my opinion. I read somewhere that ebay were added more bumpf to the T&C so that payments would be taken automatically from buyers (I think there was even a thread on here about this a while back)0

so u want immediate payment as soon as the auction as ended.
unless tey were last second bidders then it may not be possible straight away as the winning bidder may have outside commitments ie work etc
until they next log on they may not realise they were winning bids
once i waited 5 days for payment but the buyer did apologise as it was due to work and family commitments0
