Why can't people just....

pay straight away!?!? If you bid on something on ebay, i think you should pay asap. you know when the auction ended!! I have been waiting 2 and half days for payment. now this isnt long in contrast to some people i have waited on, but it just annoys me, as i want to get the item packed and sent off straight away, rather than waiting around.

rant over :rotfl:

Agree as well; I don't mind within a couple of days but I've had some buyers recently who've taken the mickey!

If you want imemdiate payment then set up BINs with immediate payment required, then the buyer can't win the item unless they go straight through to pay.

yes you do, but to be honest why take 7 days? you obviously like or wanted item, so pay as soon as you can. i am a seller, but a buyer as well. i always pay for items within 24 hours, as i want my item/s as soon as possible and know the seller wants the money!

problem with BIN's is you have to set the price. because my stuff isnt new or anything i start a lot at 99p to avoid fees (as ebay is quite expensive nowadays as a seller), i am waiting on £15, not a lot, but come on lady :rotfl:

sorry, at least I amuse myself, the longer they take the more you worry they will turn into a non payer!

I totally agree, I sold something of value not so long ago and the buyer left it til he got back from a weeks holiday before contacting me! It was too late by then, I had started a dispute through ebay. He gave the holiday as an excuse which I was flabbergasted at. He decided unregistered his account which I found abit strange, after I got my ebay fees back...

OMG why bid on something that you could win if you know you are going on holiday. To me ebay is so strict on sellers, but not so much on buyers. This is just my opinion as I do both!

The annoying thing is when people, established ebayers, place their first bid on your item 30 seconds before the auction closes, then they disappear for 4/5 days before paying! Why?!

Taking 7 days is allowed, but why wait to pay for an item that cost less than a tenner and could be posted to you in 24 hours?

    Sorry :o:p

No, I usually only wait until the end of the day, or the next morning, when the money from one paypal account is transferred into another.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p
