Different problem... this may or not be the time or place...
I've uploaded a few avatars today - each time it told me the file upload had failed... then did it anyway

Hi folks,

The problems you're experiencing are due to some changes we're making in the system. We switched these off last night but in order to fix it, we're going to need to make the changes again this morning to gather some new data.

We'll only be doing this for about 15 min or so this morning before we switch it off again.

I believe this may be resolved. Thanks to everyone whose detailed bug reports helped me with this.

I still have an oustanding issue with not being able to thank posts and on trying to view thanks in other posts, having the page refresh.

I understand this was an issue that quite a few members had at the upgrade where the system was taken off line for the weekend. Any news when this will be resolved?
