It should do, never any guarantees with banks though! Can you leave sending the cheque for another day or two to be on the safe side?
BB, you OK? :grouphug:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
not really, but I'll be ok. Feel knackered now and nothing has been resolved, but have to keep going with the day. Just waiting for the post and then off to see Charlie. Got my teaching course this afternoon, then a meeting a 5.30 I'll get paid £10 to attend and then a 1hr training session I can go to at 6.30pm and get paid £10 for as well.

Not really, it's money I owe my grandma and she really needs it back. Only if the cheque bounces, I'm going to get a horrible lecture. She's got diabetes and heart problems so I'm not allowed to stress her out, which is why I've never told her about my debts. If I'm lucky, she won't get the cheque cashed the day she gets it anyway. Plus, she's up in Scarborough so even if I send it 1st class today, I doubt it'll be there for tomorrow morning. I'm just going to have to chance it. Thanks for your help.

Hey Snaggs-that's interesting what you said about noise....I sometimes get that, like its all crowding into my head at once ..I have to turn the TV off, make the kids quieten down, etc or I'll scream! My DH looks at me like I've gone mad, says its not noisy in here..but my head is saying it is ...I go and sit somewhere quiet for 10 mins or so and its all ok again....Debt-free...and staying that way...0

Brownie meeting now sorted apart from my lack of uniform.
Electricial coming tonight about a new shower.
Better get back to some real work before the boss tells me off!0 -
Okay.....*breathes*
Have spoken to the exclusions team who are going to contact school to 'gently remind them' about the paperwork (so they can't sneak it under the radar as an unofficial exclusion).
They are sending me details about the appeals process - she obviously can't pass an opinion, but as soon as I said he has Aspergers and was excluded for swearing, she said, without prompting, 'and you feel he has been discriminated against because that's part of his condition?'. Um, exactly. So she has obviously heard this same story before.
She is going to also ring Parent Partnership up and make sure they contact me today, with a view to having a meeting with school tomorrow *gulp*.
The idea being that the relationship with school is repaired sufficiently for me to feel happy about sending Ryan back there tomorrow (not sure he will go, but I will try to persuade him).
Still no answer from IPSEA. Will keep trying.
Oh, and my cooker is arriving any minute. :rotfl:

sammy?
Take it you two had a productive meeting on friday?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
She asked about discrimination Snags because it's a completely separate process from the appeals, it has different rules and will be a separate investigation. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

The answer is very simple, if Ryan's needs mean the teacher can't spend the required time with the rest of the class then he needs statementing and funding.Honestly snags this all smacks of laziness to me, they would rather just push him out of the door so someone else has to do the work.
Laziness and money - Ryan doesn't bring in funding, they can't be bothered to fight for funding, he is taking up too much resource, therefore the simplest solution is to get rid of him.
I might be completely bewildered by the intricacies of the education system but I don't like my son being treated badly because he costs too much, and I am angry now....rrrrrraaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrr!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
That sounds like progress Snaggles, great to hear they're so helpful :T
I have done a few slightly scary things this morning - entered a competition which I have no hope of winning and in the very unlikely event I did would be terrified but thought 'what the hell' anyway.. signed up to OU course for next year to finish my degree.. and agreed to go to a Motor Vehicle Maintenance for Women course this afternoon - I don't even drive and my knowledge of cars is pretty much non-existent but hey!:rotfl:
