Mumoffour - I know it doesn't help but I just wanted to send you massive, massive hugs. My two have both had health problems, ds's are ongoing, and it always amazes me how brave they are. You're doing a fabulous job of helping her be able to cope. It makes you feel so guilty though there's nothing to feel guilty about....if you ever want to off load you know where we are. Feel free to pm if you ever want to ... I can't help with advice but i'm here xxxxxx0

Where did this week go?
I didn't get on here until Wednesday, and have just been catching up with the thread and not posting as I've not done any flying unless you count calories at the gym (2 classes of body combat this week so far).
I've been working lots this week and took my Mum to the hospital on Tuesday - the consultant has now said that she can drive as long as it doesn't hurt, so I won't need to take her to her next appointment, and she's pleased to have her independence back. I treated her to afternoon tea at Maison Blanc as I had a 25% off voucher - still came to £7.77 for 2 pastries and 2 pots of tea!
Visited a school that want an NQT this afternoon and have spent this evening applying for the job - it's in Leigh Park which is a massive council area and has a lot of deprivation. I did one of my PGCE placements in the area so I'm aware of the issues this could bring with it. It's a permanent position obviously depending on whether the person passes their NQT year, and it only takes me 20 mins to get there so fingers crossed. Will drop the application in tomorrow as deadline is Monday, and the interviews will be next Friday.
Enough about me - BIG HUGS & GET WELL VIBES for pigpen and toots!
Well done to soappie for taking charge!
Hugs for anyone else who wants or needs one - sorry to dip out on you again, but absolutely shattered and going to head for bed. Will try to get online tomorrow if OH isn't hogging the PC.
Night all,
sexymouse xx
PS Sorry for not doing any flying, but wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive in case anyone had noticed I was missing.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Big hugs Mumoffour and DD, you are both so brave. Sounds like a lot of medical people want to help you, so that’s a really good thing, although it must be really scary
Good news about your mum Sexymouse, hope you get the job
Soappie, really pleased to hear about your book. I know you didn't want so many people involved, but at least it's going to motivate you to actually do it!
I’ve washed up this evening. Don’t think I’m going to get anything else done tonight as DH has gone to bed so can’t change the sheets and I don’t really feel up to doing anything more today, too tired! Will just have to do lots tomorrow!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

mumof477 - hugs for you and DD. She sounds like a right wee trouper xx
soappie - please dont forget us when you are famous lol. Hmmm, maybe that will put an end to my thoughts about you being someone famous, like Delia, who has had so many books published. Or maybe this is a red herring to fool us
Bedtime for me but I've a feeling I wont sleep that great. Just had an argument with my ex husband. He was so horrible to me, which doesnt bother me, but I got this feeling that he really really hates me which isnt particuarly pleasant. I dont hate anyone and I always correct DD when she says that I hate her dad. Just wonder what she's hearing over thereOh well, she's nearly 16, so I think that will be the last time I phone him. If he cant be civil, then he can go swivel.
juliejim, TAG - I havent forgotten the jammies, they are still in the LR beside the laptop. I WILL get them sent next week

Of course I won't forget you all! And if you mean you already suspect I'm famous well you're wrong. But I am Renowned. And in a certain very small part of the country the mention of my name is enough to make certain people curse and others dive for cover - as I'm sure Rach will testify
