Hugs Mummyof5, it sounds really frustrating for you and DD. I don’t understand why they are treating her as a naughty child instead of someone with an illness. They sound like they are behaving in a “one size fits all” sort of way instead of tackling the problems people have.
Embb awwww, a cute likkle kitten! Got any pics?
Lil_me, thanks, I did the roof of the microwave! I always want to clean the bottom of it first, which is stoopid as things fall on it and it has to be cleaned again! Hope your voice gets better soon
Well done Bevan, it looks like you are doing really well. It gets easier, honest!
Big hugs ZCC, I know how disappointed you must feel. Hope you get some flying done today, but make sure you take care of yourself. You’ve recognized the signs of depression beckoning, now you need to take action to stop it getting too bad. Do things that make you feel happy, try to get plenty of rest, eat healthily, and above all don’t bottle it up, talk as much as you feel able to friends/family. PM me if you need a chat. It’s frustrating about work, but it’s not the end of the world. You will find a solution, so keep positive (easier said than done, I know).
Excellent suggestion from Mumofjusttwo and Valli
Nice to see you Shazzle, are you going to join in and keep us updated of how you are doing? Would be nice to see more of you
Hugs Michelle
Catznine, wow, you have done so well! 3 stars! It took me ages to get to doing three stars a week!
Mumoffour, I can’t help really but hugs to you and your DD
Swinstie, well done for doing level one, it’s a great start! You are doing well
Spose I'd better do something. Really should wash up, have only done it twice this week so far. The place isn't too bad really cos I did quite well last week, but it needs a hoover, the bathroom needs cleaning and the bed needs changing. Might try for the bed tonight actually, now all the bedding is finally washed and dried!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Ahem, i have a quick question. If a 'friend' were to get in the bath which was a bit full, and a tidal wave drenches the floor and bathmat, would the bathmat need washing, or does that count as washing it? It's been hung up on my 'friends' heated towel rail and is dry again now.
Of course, this had nothing to do with my 'friend' being overweight, just that the bath was too full and that is entirely not [STRIKE]my [/STRIKE]I mean her fault as someone else poured the bath!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Evening all
Been in and out all afternoon, invigilating, school run, swimming run, cricket run - just cricket pick up to do now.
Need to get DS2&3 to bed early as both are shattered, so am I.
Really need to try to get a bit more paperwork done later and make 3 phone calls.
Hugs MOF4 there was a really interesting talk on alergies on radio 5 (simon mayo) this afternoon - I only caught the last 5 minutes at 2:55 but hoping to listen to it on play again later.
Rose - for me that would not count as washing the bathmat but each to their own, I wouldn't have bothered drying it I'd have simply put it straight in the washing machine soaking wet and finished the job.
Triker/Cally hope the exams are going ok for your kids and anybody else with kids doing them. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening everyone
Have updated the stars. I have done v. little flying today. I made the mistake of mentioning my book to someone quite powerful at the meeting I went to last night. Its theme will fit in well with some stuff the town is planning to put on next year. They said email them the details. So I did, suggesting we perhaps meet up to discuss its suitability.
Next thing I know, an email comes flying back saying what a brilliant idea and it's been copied into various people suggesting they might like to get in touch with me to discuss and it definitely needs to be included in next year's stuff. Means I've got to stop polishing the paper clips and actually assemble all this research into something decent  So I've been busy typing up all day. Still loads to do but I have a year.....
I have also had my car taken away and brought back again. I mucked it out of surface rubbish yesterday but not much else. Both the inside and out were covered in dust and pollen. It came back not only serviced but clean and gleaming inside and out. Even the alloy wheels shineI think the garage must still be trying to make amends for their mistake over the headlamp the other week.
Also chatted to the gardener. Then had a lovely tree man come out to discuss what to do about the conifer in the front garden that next door keep whinging about. He was really good. He just suggested chopping off the lower branches - which I can do easily - or felling it. But he agreed felling it was a bit drastic particularly as it was there before the neighbours moved in and there's nothing wrong with it! There was no hard sell, nothing just solid, good advice and his was happy to go away without a job so I'll do a blatant plug here. If anyone is in Dorset, Hampshire or Wiltshire and wants some tree work done I'll heartily recommend Banyards at Wimborne.
But, I'd best go think about dinner. Tomorrow, I think, is going to be frantic what with flying and packing and all..
