you should be on stage with humour like that neither hubby nor my mother have bothered phoning or texting or anything and purely because I am unwell I am really pee'd off by that..

My mother was meant to be coming round earlier.. she didn't
Last night hubby wanted to come home.. saw how ill I am.. and didn't even bother to ask if the children needed feeding or anything..

Well flook the lot of them.. they complain I tell them nothing then do this so why would I tell them anything? They don't deserve to know anything!!

Up drinking more and taking more pills.. honestly I will rattle!!

ETA.. I actually have to sing dd1's praises.. she has done dinner 4 of the last 5 nights and has been a godsend.. public ackowledgement of her helpfulness needed!!

I've nearly made it to the bottom of the ironing pile... only one kingsize duvet cover left to do :j. I must try to avoid washing things that need ironing :p Sadly, not much flying done, and I have to get it all out of the way tomorrow evening (together with food shopping) as my weekend is busy - Sat 8.30 am hair appointment, 10.30 am 10 mile walk, then my dad arriving in the afternoon and staying the night. On Sunday, after my dad leaves, my friend and her 18-month-old daughter are visiting for the day (I must work out what to feed them and how to entertain them!)

Off to work out what to wear to work tomorrow, make my bed and pack my work & gym bags...

Michelle honey you sound worn out, I know how you feel with the throat etc, hope you and the little one are better soon
mumoffour77, eczema is an auto immune reaction, try websites like http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/skin_hair/skin_immune_system_003741.htm http://www.familydoctor.co.uk/htdocs/eczema/eczema_specimen.html and like pigpen said ask them as much as you need to know. My little sister used to call one of the doctors Charlie the Bat, even drew him bat pictures :rotfl: kids are so brave.
sexymouse great to hear your Mum is on the mend
soappie, what a nice suprise :) Really exciting news for you too it seems, good luck!
pigpen hope you are fine in the morning ((hugs)) however much you hate them, fingers crossed they don't admit you for IV fluids like they did to me :( Big big well dones to your DD for sorting dinner, what a star!
greenbee, don't iron what doesn't need ironing ie bed sheets!!!! Oh and ask your friend what to feed her and DD would be my thought.
Valli I wish I lived closer as I'd be an apprentice, I can NOT make jam :( or good pastry....

Hugs to anyone who needs or would like one

Swimming and cubs done, one of the volunteers had hurt themselves at home so volunteered to do a A&E run too. I went from here to do the bathroom, did some then started with a MASSIVE headache, migraine like, felt sick, was sick so went to lay on the bed......that was about 11.45am, next thing I knew it was 1pm :o Anyway woke a little woosey but notice weather forecast was not great, luckily I live close enough to the cricket ground for it to be right for where I live (and unfortunately close enough to get stuck in traffic every day grrr!!) so decided that was that and time to get the lawn done. Fitting in school run/dog walk was done by about 5.30pm but still got the corner with the bark chippings to sort out, I bought a wheelbarrow and will be moving them about once I get it built. If I feel better tomorrow going to call Matthew's Mummy, see if she wants me to look after him as she's got an infection and in loads of pain bless her.
One day I might be more organised...........

lil_me.. I'd refuse to go (again).. I can drink fluid faster than they tip it in via IV.. I just downed a whole litre of water went for a rather teeny loo run realised AF is here 4 days early to add insult to injury I have now got no idea where the blood is from which isn't helpful.. My left kidley is rather painful so I'll stilo keep it under observation overnight hopefully a nights rest and a ponds worth of dog juice should fix stuff!!

Evening all, just finished making my bed so that I can get into it... not able to catch up but just [STRIKE]read[/STRIKE] skimmed the last page and hugs to those that need - Pigpen, please be careful, if you're drinking that much you should definitly be weeing so I owuld be questioning why you're not, I think a trip to the docs is definitly in order - take care of yourself and stop trying to be strong for everyone - you'll be no good to anyone if you're laid up in hospital will you. and massive well done and praise to your DD - how lovely of her to help out...:T:T:T:T:T

Well, my bedroom is resembling a bedroom again, only stuff at the bottom of the bed to be sorted now. Luckily it's binbag and recycling day tomorrow as I have thrown out 10 bags of paper and old brochures - gave away the home mags, just threw out old bathroom, kitchen, flooring, etc brochures from different companies that I had - hundreds of them gone! plus 4 bags of general rubbish that could not be recycled also gone... and there's still loads left, where the hell did I have it all?

Anyway, I also managed to wash my bedding and DS's bedding so the beds are all done (and I ironed them, about the only thing I don't mind ironing as I love looking at a freshly ironed bed) so have even done 2 HHI's and another normal load washed and hung up and one still in there now ready for the morning - downstairs still looking tidy too, but tomorrow, I am staying in bed till after 12 - I am soooooo tired my legs won't work any more and my ankles and knees are refusing to bend... am I getting old? :(

So I'll see you all tomorrow sometime... :D [STRIKE]night[/STRIKE] morning all ;)

    Morning everyone.

Pigpen - please don't down too much water all at once - it's dangerous - sip it little and often. This article explains why:

Hope you're feeling better this morning. I've awarded your DD1 a special award on post 330

Just waiting for the kids to finish with the bathroom so I can have a bath then I'll get packing and flying. I go on holiday tomorrow!
