Rosepink, they had to do other things like catching a soft toy and crawling on tummys like snakes,my son doesnt know anyone and the leader expected him to go right across a room away from me doing these things this was our first time but my LO just wanted to go on the equipment, the man who ran it didnt even say hello to my son or anything just expected him to go straight to him?

I lost mine in Asda the other week....... Hes 7 so likes to be a little bit independent. He had a juice bottle that he had finished so asked if he could go and put it in the bin. So I said he could but he had to come straight back.

I stood by the door and waited for him and the little wotsit never came back. I must have been busy chatting to my mum and not noticed, but somehow he had come straight passed us and went to play on the computer games instead.

Of course I didnt know that, was all round the shop looking for him, outside, toilets the lot!!

Even the staff were all looking for him, then he saunters over, having finished his game on the Xbox!!

I nearly killed him after! xx

    Rant

    AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH

Just spoken to the ex (not DH anymore) and he can't see my problem with the children staying at his girlfriends house. I told him I didn't care what he did but when my kids are involved then it is different. He got the hup because I said MY kids and told me he would speak later.

    Rant over

Well got rid of quite a lot of rubbish/charity stuff today and builder has taken old boiler done and radiator just needs to be put up. Although he has burnt my wall when he was soldering :( and he certainly isn't very tidy.)

Back in again this week....think I had a major attack of CBA last week, plus had some home/school drama with middle ds.

Anyway today I did get moving, planted all my french beans out on the allotment, was just hanging out fourth load of washing as it's bright and breezy here, when phone went. It was youngest ds's teacher, he came over all woozy after taking his second SATS paper this morning, so off I went to the school to collect him....poor kid does have a rotten cold, I think being in a hot exam room made it worse, have to see how he is tomorrow....think they have also built up these SATs for eleven year olds enormously, they've done loads of practice papers and most of his class was pretty nervy in the classroom queue this morning.

Have started my list, but will have to branch out from it to have a go at my bathroom, it's definitely neglected at the moment.

Thanks so much everyone for your lost child tales. It really does make me feel better. You're all brilliant! You're right Mozzy...she really is Miss Independant!

mummyof5....40 mins to find DS:eek: You must have been out of your mind with worry! Re. Tumble tots..I had similar thoughts to you when I took DD1 to a taster session of tumble tots a few years ago. We didn't go back either! DD2 goes to a gymnastics club that run toddler sessions and they get to go on anything they want (or don't have to if they don't want). The only structured thing about the whole hour is that they do a 5 minute song at the start, they all get to take a number so they each have a turn on the big trampoline and they do the hokey cokey at the end. Other than that they run jump and climb til their hearts content! Slightly cheaper and a onger session than TT too. Is there a gymnastics club near you that might do a similar session?

Going to do the girls tea now...spag bol from the freezer so just needs nuking in the microwave. Will clean the back door while they eat.

Dusty - you're another one who ought to see the doctor if your leg's that bad.
Mozzy - how did you do? I did the kitchen windows inside AND out, repotted a succulent, watered all the plants, cleaned the windowledges, bought one lot of washing in and put another lot out.

ETA that doesn't sound a lot but I do have three large windows in the kitchen!

    Hello everyone,
hope the weekend was good to you.
Spent most of mine in the garden & am paying the price with an aching back & legs etc. Might have a soak in the tub later.
Vanilla congratulations on the arrival of baby Rhys & to Abbie for your scan results.
SunnyGirl I think most parents have experienced that heart-stopping moment when you turn round & they've gone. In my case I found my DS a couple of aisles away in the supermarket stuffing his face with Jaffa Cakes. Certainly doesn't make you a bad parent.
Jo great reply - hope the rest of your day at work went as well.

My DD did her first exam today, haven't caught up with her yet to ask how she'd gone on. We unfortunatley had a bit of a run in last night when she went up to her BF's after telling us she was going to a friend's to revise. She got rumbled when said friend rang to speak to her. So she's grounded for a while, DH is furious that she's lied again & has banned her from seeing BF. It's so difficult, treading on eggshells but not wanting her to get away with all sorts!

    Anyway, jobs to do.....
