    Morning everyone.

Tried to catch up with the thread last night but started chatting to my SIL online. Was at work yesterday and was shattered last night so thought I had better go to bed before I spent the night using the keyboard as a pillow. Was telling her my news about going to be a great gran again.

My plan today is to do a bit in each room and will do the bathroom. Then its not so much through the week. I really hope it doesnt rain as it did yesterday. I want to take mum out for a walk this morning. Will go see DD as there is something wrong with her foot. I will walk back through the country park again.

Good to hear that Toots is making progress. Sending positve get well vibes.
pigpen Get well vibes for you too.
Sunnygirl Good luck for the run.
juliejim Hope you feel better soon.
rosepink Hugs and sending calming positive vibes for you tomorrow.
froddy Im half way through Tasting the Wind and really enjoying it although its sad in parts. The author has obviously worked in care. How he decribes IPP meetings is spot on. Also the behaviour of the clients when in shops etc.
    TAG Big hugs for you.

Off to an hours challenge before I go see mum.

I only have 1 and he makes enough - but 60!!!!:eek::eek: You're MAD!

Not sure if I'm mad or stupid. DD had a party last year and everything was fine. I didnt think to ask how many people were invited :o:confused: Her best friend admitted to me on Sat morning that 60 were invited, but they had no idea how many people actually turned up. I'm just grateful that the house wasnt completely trashed. I can cope with 1 ruined carpet and 1 badly stained carpet that I know I can clean with stardrops  If the veggie patch had been spoilt there would have been murder!

I think I will concentrate on paperwork today. LR is looking a bit untidy so I need to gather my receipts together.

    Hope everyone is well xx

    Morning lovelies!

Thanks to Quillion, Hex, Michelle & Bevan for kitty advice, it's all been taken on board. She seems to be settling down a bit now or maybe I'm just getting used to her one or the other, she missed her tray again this morning and I didn't even shout :D benches will def be a no-no she's not even allowed upstairs and she gets shut in the dining room/porch when we're all out. I've started as I mean to go on.

Lil_me It's in my Diary for next Sunday, will pm you later with my mobile no for specifics, I'm looking forward to meeting you all, I'm giving you due warning tho, I'll have the tribe with me, well littley at least.

Been up since 6 am  thanks to OH and his manly ways :D glad he doesn't stay more than once a week though, is that awful? So, out and about visiting and dropping off and a bit of food shopping today, then a big snooze later. Need to S&S the kitchen but the rest is fine although having said that it's ready for it's fortnightly clean now.....I'm in for the list this week.

You don't do things by halves do you pigpen, poor you, get better super quick x

You too Toots, I'm missing you x

    Morning all

It was dry when I got up, then it chucked it down with rain but now it's dry again and trying to brighten up. The washing has been out and back in and I'm not playing hokey-cokey with it!

Not done much else apart from normal tidying round, washing up, cooking etc. I've got a sinus headache that I've had for three days now and it's getting on my nerves.

TAG, sorry to hear your news but you sound like you are coping well. Make sure you stick around :)

And now the motorcycling is on the television......it must be Sunday.

TAG hugs hun and I hope all works out as you want it to

Embb - when woody was a kitten he drove us made running up us and sitting on our shoulder, he would stay there whilst you walked around the house, washed up, was on the computer. He stopped as he grew and the funny thing is he hates being picked up now.

Rain here, kids gone to cricket. Just heading for the shower and then I need to pop to London Colney. Plan was to garden this afternoon but that might be being swopped for paperwork, checking kids homework, cracking the revision whip!

Cross at DS2 as he has lost his cricket helmet at school cricket - I can chat to the PE teacher when I invigilate tomorrow but when DS1 lost his it was gone for good. DS2 is usually good and does not loose things - I think other kids take stuff from their bags - going to check when they get back that the whole lot is labelled.
