    Hope everyone's well. :D

I'm off to my lovely bed now. Mr Sh's out on some work jolly tonight, so I'm off up before he gets home, and wants to tell me, at length, how much he loves me, and how much he hates his job  Bless. :D

    Morning all

Irie - Im the same as you I work days and OH nights so I dont start the housework till about 10 when kids are settled and I have been fed! Then I study for a couple of hours until about 2am and then off to bed ready to get up at 6.45 for work the next day. This is why my house is trashed and I desparatly need to figure out a routine for the housework so its not so much of a chore.

Toots and Pigpen - get well soon and get plenty of rest.

Hope everyone is well, off to try and make kitchen look presentable! x x

wow!! It feels good to know I am not alone. Not that I am glad that others have difficulties as well but as grateful puts it I feel less hard done by.

Cha97michelle I know how you feel. Wanting to work through feeling rough but I have leant the hard way that you need the rest to get better. I also know too well what happens when one LO wakes the other and you have to be up before you really want too. My DH gets in between 6 and 7 and I am trying to get DS to wait in bed until then but he still wakes me and nags me once he’s up. DH used to sneak in and lay on the settee but DS got better at listening for him and all you would hear is DADDY!!! run run run and the whole house would be up. I have removed the coffee table from the LR one less thing for DD to bump into as DS runs around. Hope you get some gained time once your 11’s have gone. It makes it a bit easier if you are not taken for cover. My school have cut out study leave and 11s are expected to attend lessons until they have written your exam. They don’t all turn up but enough do to prevent you from using the time to catch up on other things. Mine write P1 this week so things will get easier.
Off to bed now and will get an early night tonight.

We are taking on International students again. Haven't had any for about three years, but the hostel is closing down so have said we will do it again. Will find out more on Tuesday.

Match Of The Day. Summary of all the football games. I am a football widow so I know these things!

Thanks for the update on Toots...still sending healing vibes to you hun!

Pigpen...hope you feeling better soon. x Similar thing happened to SIL when she had a bad few months...she ended up in hospital with a few nasty bugs. Think they hit you when you're down. ((Hugs))

Thanks for all the good wishes for the run today. Really nervous now...got butterflies in my stomach. Just had some breakfast and I'm about to get a shower then get going. Just snatching a quiet 10 minutes while the girls and DH are still in bed (girls are awake though...have told DD1 she can read and DD2 has been told to get back in bed...not that that'll work!)

    Anyway....see you all later.

ETA: Can't belive I'm the first UK person posting this morning...that NEVER happens. Suppose I don't usually get up at this time on a Sunday though!
