If I buy something from someone abroad using my paypal balance do I have any protection? Not an ebay sale I thought they might send me an invoice through payapal.

Lol loving the short and sweet answers.
One more question, I assume I should ask them to send me an invoice for payment, do they just put other goods instead of ebay sale?0 -
What if it doesn't come but they have no funds for charge back?0

Youre pretty stuck there. Can I ask what it is your buying? If its something expensive, like a mobile phone, I suggest you really do your research as it is so easy to get scammed. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

You aren't covered if you dispute and the money has been withdrawn. (There's a recent thread where this happened)
You can't do anything if it's SNAD.My TV is broken!

No its not a phone, I have bought from the seller twice before on ebay but they are having probs listing what I want to buy because I believe due to vero restrictions so I thought I could get round it by saying I'd buy off ebay. Its about £50 so will have a think about it.
Thanks for replies.
Would I be better protected using a credit card to fund the transaction through paypal rather than my balance?0
