Just a quick one before my wifi dies yet again
I got a Lakeland catalogue through the post this morning with a lovely £3 voucher in it
So if anyones looking to buy the bags for snowman soup then they should be able to get the voucher and take the price of them down a little bitLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -

Oh no - have just realised 25th May not that far away!!! Get sorry RRRRssss in gear!!
Did some last year - bought little organza bags from ebay but will just use plastic self seal bags this year....also did Santa's Credit Crunch Pressies - Snowman Poo Reindeer Poo and Christmas Fairy Poo ....went down very well with the kids!!
Am young at heart but the big 40 is creeping up in the next couple of years - NOOOOOOOO have just had to sit down at the shock of seeing it written down! Been married 9 years this August and have 2 little ones - Elise 5 and Joshua 2 and half.....on career break at mo but seem so much busier than when I was at work!! Often feel like asking for my P45 for my stay at home mum job but then a sticky hand tugs me away to see a latest creation and suddenly it's the best job in the world!! Have made nappy cakes for family and friends and had my first 'proper' order this week!! Yay!:T
As you have the 40 to look forward to,I'll have to drag you across to the birthday thread, ie 40 things to do before 40

Thats a brilliant idea, say a limit of £5, or if your a big family, put the kids names in a hat (and adults as well if you buy for them), and each adult gets a pick, like secret santa, instead of saying £5 each for 10 children, you could say maximum £20.00.xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Oh my god how fast does this thread move????!!!!!
Mel - So glad to see you back hunni, hope your on the mend. I know what you mean about the grotto, I really would love to do it. I might volunteer at one of the grootos local to me when it comes to the time. Great idea about the ice cube molds I'll keep an eye out this summer for some funky cheap ones and thanks for the tip n the cookie cutters in Morrisons.
Julie - Keep all your ideas coming, there great and much appreciated there are deffo a few there that I will be using this christmas.
My mum and dad bought me my birthday pressent yesterday even though it isnt till september. They bought me two tickets to see Wicked in London for me and bf. I am sooooo excited I really wanted to see it when we were in New York in feb but every night was old out except for the night we were going home, so was gutted that we couldnt watch it.
6 days till my holiday cant blummin wait.
I iwll be checking regularly cos no doubt they'll be another 6 pages to catch up on in an hourx x x

Love the christmassy injection this thread seems to have gotten. Love the ideas julie - keep them coming they are fantastic. Going to def. do some of them - I will go back and write them down or I'll forget.
Def. going to do the handwarmers - I wonder if you can get them from the pound shop or something and then just make the covers for them?! Love the idea of a christmassy motif on the front.
Right here's my pledge - by rudolph day I will make some packs of snowman poop http://organizedchristmas.com/snowman-poop
and then I'll photo them and post them on rudolph day, I wanted to make them last year for some friends we don't buy for - cos I love the verse - but never got round to it. So...it's just a small task but realistic I think. Have put mini marshmallows on my shop list.
It's my dd's 4th birthday tomorrow and so I am organised and have made pirate cups I found cheap and filled them with home bargains sweets and wrapped them in cellophane (which I had already) I was inspired by rainmac to do the cups. They look fab and are all done - making a pirate ship cake tonight. I will photo all if I remember.
I had my dating scan yesterday so will post a piccie but I have to scan it at my dad's first as ours doesn't work. It's not a very clear pic though. Very stressed and worried, though baby was healthy they said they may have to do a c-section. Which scared me and I cried about it all day. I have only heard scary stories about c-sections and about how long it takes to recover. Feeling a bit better today though as one of my friends reminded me that her story was a bit scary cos it was an emergency section and that if mine were planned it would be a lot more relaxed and easy!!! quite emotional about it all - the thought of how long it takes to recover upsets me. Need to concentrate on the baby though and how worth it all it will be, and that later on I will forget it all (I hope)0 -
My rudolph day pledge is going to be make all the gift tags for my santa's lumps of coal and my snowman soup as i think this will be a big helpI Love My Computer Because My Friends Live In It0
