Search is still playing up post's from 9 hours ago are not showing up when searching in fact you have to go 3 pages deep before any of them do!
in it's present form one cannot rely on the search facility unless every time you post a comp you do a search and then also check 3 pages back to see if it's already been posted!
Update: The web team are aware of the problem and are presently trying to resolve the issue
please see this post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=23132681&postcount=11

HELP NEEDED!!!
Is there a way I can have competitions opened up automatically at start of new threads with replies etc not showing, or a way of bookmarking where I am on the competition page? It seems I spend a lot of time trying to find where I left off, and the page numbers change while I've gone as new posts come in.
I love this forum and would like to thank everyone for their contributions.#StaySafeWishing you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year0 -
does anyone know what has happened to the go to first unread post clickie that used to be at the top of threads please? The likeability factor appears to be in its place at the moment, which I really don't use at all.
I am really missing that for the longer threads. My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly

Not a good idea to not have replies showing, OPs aren't infallible and sometimes if you read down some kind member has pointed out an error with the answer.
The best way I find is to select 'Thread start time' and 'Descending' That way you get all of the new posts showing first and no old ones that have been 'bumped'.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

The left of the views is a blue arrow, pointing down. Is that it?
It appears to do something like what you want, but I didn't use the old button anyway.
:j you superstar, I had completely missed that arrow and was getting sooooooo frustrated at losing my place in big threads, thank you :TMy light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly

I don't know if this is the right place for this post but lately, I am so sick of some of the b1tching in these forums. Sour grapes, jealousy and behaviour verging on bullying. Anyone who enters a competition can win, and the winners deserve to win. But being nasty to the winners on these forums or even via PM as has been happening lately, is so uncalled for. Why don't these people do something more constructive with their time, such as enter more competitions or even search for some new ones to post, rather than just cause misery for others and take the shine off what should be a happy moment. It's making some people less inclined to post on these forums and participate fully...some people no longer post their wins in IWIWIW, some removed theirs from their signatures, all because of a few sore losers and it's just not on.0
