    Hi Everyone,

Just a query really about the magnum comp because I did not want to keep bumping it:o

Is it still running behind on emails to notify of wins?
I know it says 72 hrs but in the begining befor it went down they usually let you know within 30 -40 mins of entering your code.

    Can anyone confirm?

All the codes i have inputted i've waited longer than 72 hours too. I put some codes in well over a week ago & still waiting to see if I've won. I'm also still waiting for my magnum win to arrive from last month.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

I wonder if someone could answer my question. Some of the comps have runner up prizes that are more appealing to me than the first prize. In particular some of the holiday prizes are wonderful but is not option for me at the moment. However the runner up prizes can be Wii's etc. which would be very acceptable ! Do promoters allow you to turn down a first prize and ask for one of the second prizes ?

I don't know about the ones where you have to fill in a form but when they are via email and I woudl prefer the runners up prize I tend to write that - don't know whether or not they would ever take it into account though

I should think all the prizes are allocated at the same time - so if you are pulled as a 1st prize winner and don't want it they will just re draw, as the runners up will have been notified at the same time as the 1st prize winner and there will not be one to give you instead. iyswim

Yes I see what you mean. I guess the best thing is to enter the comp and hope that I don't win first prize - ha ha I wish !!

Thank you blackmidnight and josie301 for your replies.

Sorry to bump in has anyone watched today's Dickinson Real Deal? Usually catowen posts it, but I can't find it anywhere (unless I'm blind) :)

That's strange, she definitely hasn't posted it. Perhaps she's had enough, she got a lot of umwarranted 'stick' the other day on another Real Deal thread.
