Hi,

you know you can google your name to see if anything comes up if you've won. I have a bit of a problem my name is rachel green so there are alot of posts (mostly about friends and some writer) does anyone know of a way i can narrow down the things oogle finds it's driving me mad. I have tried just rachel green

can't think of anyother ways of narrowing it down any help would be appreciated.

I always put my name in inverted comma's so I search winner "Joe Blogs" if you see what I mean.

Stops you getting all the searched where your first and last names appear but not together, IYSWIM

Hi, you could try it with -friends or - anything else irrelevant that comes up. Once you have it narrowed down, save it on google alerts, then you'll get an email if anything comes up and you don't have to keep searching - also if you keep getting emails with the same person on, you could add another - with their book title/school or whatever else comes up with their name

I sympathise Rachel, my Surname is Hunt so I get all sorts of matches too, I shall try Superhez's hint in future.

Following on from the various discussions on the itv thread, I think that Korkys idea of a TV COMP thread where all the comps are under one thread is excellent!! We have a Puzzler and a Take a Break thread and i think that the TV comps would be better all under one roof so too speak ?? Anyone agree?????

Just to let you all know that I'll [STRIKE]most likely[/STRIKE] pretty much definitely :eek: have to stop posting compos in a couple of weeks or less so if you spot any compos that I normally post but they haven't been posted, get them on here

Or if anyone is feeling majorly enthusiastic and keeps a comp site list, let me know & I'll send you the list of comp sites which I normally post

hi, it was originally catowens idea, i just kind of thought if it was like the postcard/text, tabs, puzzlers with a 1st page hopefully it would be easier for everyone to follow through & for new people to find it easier to save all the dupes & stuff that's been happening lately,
so i'm bound to agree
