Does roboform really make much of a difference?
I currently just rely on windows to remember what I wrote.

hi! im just venturing out on the competitions mission for a bit of fun and came across "competitorscompanion" website and just wondered if any1 had used it and was it ok?
    thanks
    newbie fi

Hi fiona :) Years ago (late 80's) I used to subscribe to a magazine called Competitors Companion & it was full of postcard entry comps & telling you where to get entry forms. I used to do a few 100 each month but only won 1 thing over about 2 years. If the website is the online version of this, then yes I have heard of it :)

What I will say though is that having to pay the subscription cost for the CC magazine, as well as buy obtain postcards & stamps, I found it quite costly to comp back then. Nowadays I just use MSE for the comps as there are a few hundred new ones posted EVERY DAY (!) including a special thread for postal comps so I can still satisfy the urge to send off a postcard every now & then :)

It is your choice but if you comp from MSE then it doesn't cost anything except your time & you may be rewarded with a win every now & then! :)

    Good luck!
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

Just thought i'd introduce myself to everyone on here, just started out so lets hope I have some good luck :)

Hi west18 :hello: Good luck with your comping [STRIKE]habit[/STRIKE] hobby ;) It will suck you in very quickly & not many people are able to get out without having entered a few hundred comps :D

Take a browse through the Comping Guide, which is one of the threads 'stickied' to the top of this forum & hopefully you can pick up some helpful tips to get you off to a flying start :)

Do you actually read closely, OP? You have asked this qu a few times. There is no magic bullet - just read the tips in the Comping Guide and if it's getting down, well, perhaps comping is not for you. I've been doing it for a year and whilst I have not won tons, I have won enough with a biggish win every now and then. It took a while tho and it does take a bit of effort.
