I don't think you'd need a seperate file, just a thread with links to the comps would do.
I have a bookmark folder for them as well, atm.My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly

I wondered what anyone thought of this idea...
Could we have a thread/sticky of current products who are running comps? I realise that in general comps posted should be free to enter, but many creep onto the boards anyway McVities, Pepsi etc etc.
It would be really helpful for me and I assume some others if all products where listed in one place so you could have a quick look before going supermarket shopping. By this I mean everyday products that people might consider switching brands for due to a promo - not to encourage people to buy products they wouldn't normally.
These could be things like a particular brand of toilet roll, coffee, butter, cheese, cereal etc.
I often forget the comps that are on when I'm in the supermarket, and having them in one place would be really useful to me.
What does anyone think?
I agree that it would be good to have a list somewhere, but this would need to be maintained by someone, a bit like Gilla maintains the daily comps thread (thanks for that btw - much appreciated!). That would be my suggestion - have a sticky in the regular comps board for 'Purchase Required Comps' - but someone would need to volunteer to maintain it.0 -
Hi all,
Is it worth setting up a Facebook a/c to enter comps with that require it? Im just about getting to grips with Twitter and quite frankly Facebook scares me technology wize.
One of my colleagues described it as a 'stalkers paradise'. Is this true? Can one have an a/c on facebook to use for comps but keep it private? Any thoughts appreciated.

You could make an account - you don't have to have pic or any personal details - you could use your MSE username, you don't have to use your real one and yes you could have it private so only people you allow can access the few bits of information you have on there2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

Thanks blackmidnight, I see a lot of comps using facebook and dont wanna miss out but if one can open a private account that could work for me

The same has been happening to me for the last two weeks and I can't find out how to sort it.0 -
Thanks ClarkeEJ, I am sorry, but it is soooo nice to know I haven't messed Yahoo up, and that I'm not imagining this happening. Its blinking annoying through. My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
