I don't recall entering the daily express comps (from their Saturday Magazine) recently. Have they stopped them or is no-one posting the code?
    Thank you all who post.

Why are lots of competitions being moved over to regulars recently? eg, this one, this one, this one, etc?

I know I've asked this before many times but please can someone give a definitive answer as to the purpose of the regulars section of the board. As I see it these competitions are different every month with different prizes and different answers, not just just the same competition that you are allowed to enter multiple times, so aren't technically regulars.

If we're just going with the definition that these sites regularly post competitions then why are all of the ITV ones (X factor, GMTV, This Morning), the weekly Hello magazine one, the weekly/fortnightly Match magazine ones, the fortnightly Detour/Reviewed Online ones, etc all moved over?

Thanks for highlighting those few - I would normally have entered these off the main board as I don't have enough time to visit the regulars :) I accept that I will miss a few comps but so be it.
(Wonder if there are any comps to win a few extra hours in a day?!?)

Perhaps you should PM one of the BG's directly as they are the folks with the power to move these threads.

I think perhaps 'regulars' needs some guidelines added. ie

    * Monthlies - where it is an email to enter/a question to answer (but the thread not locked to the new answer can be updated.)

Or renamed - as nearly all the comps listed are regular to particular sites. daily/weekly/fortnightly only a few have sporadic comps.

But - it would be quite a job to introduce it would be a huge change to make and diva has already done her best to try and implement some sort of order to that section - which incidently has been messed up by the introduction of the above mentioned threads. ;)

I agree, this is totally confusing and has been getting worse for some time with more and more monthlies being regarded as regulars.
My opinion is that NO monthlies should be regarded as regulars and the monthly thread in regulars should be abandoned.
As I understand it, the original purpose of the regulars board was to stop the main board from being confused with large numbers of daily & weekly comps but surely monthly comps are sufficiently spaced not to be a problem.
If this were taken to it's ultimate conclusion and all comps that are posted "regularly" by sites were all to be put on the regulars board, there wouldn't be much left for the main board.
Just my opinion for what it's worth.

And as if by magic the three examples I cited have returned to the main competitions section. Big thank you to whoever sorted that out.
