Was just wondering if it's just my computer or if it's the same for everyone.
Thanks and hello everyone
It's the same for me. I haven't been able to get on any of them since last night.ASK A WOMAN HOW SHE FEELS

How do you enter twitter competitions? I dont quite understand it?!!
Thanks!
I don't understand it either. Maybe one of the regs that uses twitter could help if you pm them. i know munchkim uses it.If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

To follow Twitter comps you have to register at Twitter, then often just copy and paste some specified text and 'follow' the comp organiser. The 'follow' option is usually near the top of the page.
Sometimes there is a link to the comp which you click.
Stephen Fry is great to 'follow' - he leads an extraordinary life, flying all over the place!
Good luck0 -
Is it me or are there an awful lot of people who don't bother to press the thanks button lately? If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

There is no need for thanks. People don't use it to track if they've entered anymore. They either subscribe or keep a spreadsheet:rolleyes:
I still use it - I've never got into subscriptions and haven't looked into it since the recent discussions either (though I suppose I should try it)0 -

I always thank too! As much for the sake of thanking the OP's as tracking entries
In fact, while I'm here, THANK YOU all of you who post comps. You're all so quick off the mark getting them out there that I rarely get to return the favour but when I can I do0 -
The thanks button is the way forward
I' m afraid that I will have to disagree with Al,
I personally think that anbutton that automatically thanks the OP when clicked and put's a little tick on the main page is the way forward
I always thank each and every post whether I enter the competition or not, as I appreciate the time and effort that the OP has taken to post the comp
and I would still thank each and every post even if there was a better way of tracking the comps like anbutton
don't think that it will ever happen though as no one in mse towers seems to listen to the lifeblood of mse (the forum members) when they implement any changes :mad:0 -
I will, sort of, disagree with you.
Competitions Time is not what MSE is about. Competitions Time is just an add on board, not integral to the fundamentals of the site. So anbutton is not an urgent neccesity. So the thanks button, or susbscription if you must, is the best tool we have.
smiley added, just to show this is healthy debate and in no way an aggressive attack, before someone accuses me
Point taken Al,
I must admit that sometimes I forget that there are other boards than Competition Time:o
and that the peeps in mse towers have to ensure the smooth running of all of the boards on mse
maybe if there was someone in mse towers who was interested in entering competitions
then thebutton would become an urgent necessity
