the way I deal with them is by not doing them:D I find I have enough comps to enter just doing the ones on the main board

Dailies & weeklies are okay to keep track of but Monthlies are a pain as a lot of them get crossed over on to main board as well as being on regular so you have to check you're not duplicating an entry, ok if you have a good memory I guess. I find a lot of the monthlies are newsletter sign ups too so once you signed up you have to unsubscribe before you enter again.. what a faff lol!!
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

Sorry if i'm not meant to ask this here, if I am ignore this and once again, sorry :p I just checked the Trident website and my name is on week 3 winners list, but I never got an e-mail, wheres my friend entered week 1 and she got hers through. I'm just wondering if it's just me, or other people too? I'm using hotmail? I hear that isn't the best e-mail to use? Thank you for the replys in advance! :D

    Edit //
ikkle87 has replied to me here: So if you are in the same boat as me, its a problem at their end. Once again thank you ikkle87!

  • TIP FOR BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT ITV COMPETITION (etc.)

Some special ITV comps don't remember your form entry and force you to type the details in each time... So you have to type them in five times for five entries!!! How annoying.

Type them in and submit then IMMEDIATELY hit the ESCAPE key. If you time it right you should stop on a blank page with a long URL in the address bar with the details you entered appended.

Highlight and copy the URL and hit enter and it will take you to the confirmation page. Now paste it back into the address bar and hit enter. Wash, rinse, repeat. :)

The timing of hitting the ESCAPE key depends on the speed of your internet connection... If it's slow then you will probably just cancel the initial form entry page. Wait too long and you will reach the confirmation page and will have to try again. :)

    Good luck my fellow compers.
  • an easier method is to spell the capatcha wrong the first time, then when you do it correctly the second time, you can press backspace and the details will be remembered

Wrong type of ITV comps. I'm talking Family Fortunes, Britain's Got Talent etc, which don't have a Captcha. :)

Is it just me or has there been a sudden influx of 'thanks for postings' or 'I really want to win this blah blah'???

    PLEASE, PLEASE STOP!!!!!!

    small reminder:
    8. No Bumping Of Posts. Please do not just bump posts for the sake of it. This disrupts the boards.

Although I'm sure anyone who reads in here knows this already.....
