Hi Melvis,
I'm still waiting for my cheque from April and I spoke to a guy called Joel Stern last week on the number the text gave. He said he had just come back from holiday and that there was a backlog of cheques to be sent out. He said if the cheque hadn't come by the first week of June, to give him a call again. I hope it comes this week as I could do with the money as I'm sure we all could!!
Mind you, it might not hurt for someone else to call and chase him! Put the pressure on!0 -
Morning everyone
Sue I was just going to say more or less what Cheeky has said (good luck to Buffy at the doggy dentist Cheeky xxx). DH has done most of the training with our doggies and he even now still calls them back every now and then for no particular reason, gives them a big cuddle and sometimes just asks them to walk along side him for a few minutes then throws them a stick or something and lets them run off again, that way they get used to coming back but still having funIt does sound like he may have been mistreated, Zak, our old chap who died last year was in a terrible state when we got him at 6 months old, he had been beaten and locked in a shed all of his life as far as we could work out, it took a long time to build that trust but we got there and he was the most beautiful loving and loyal doggy you could ever wish for. Lots and lots of patience Sue and the rewards will be wonderful xxx

Yep, mine's from 16th April. Might still give him a call this afternoon then and see if he says the same. Thanks xxSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -

Thanks everyone for the advice, he was better this morning, but whether that was by luck or judgement we have yet to see. Someone suggested leaving a 5ft length of some sort of cord attached to his collar when we let him off so that when he gets close you can put your foot on it, but I'd be worried that he would get tangled up in that. We'll certainly try the suggestions given, thanks for those. I've also found a squeaky toy that he seems to llike, so we'll take that with us next time, maybe that will get his attention.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams
