morning everyone,
havent posted on this thread since bingoport banned me, that was the only thing i was actually doing to get some money in for xmasnothing else appeals to be because its such a long process to get any rewards, doesnt motivate me as much as bp did
sorry girls.
Think should say join the club, they did the same to me, mum and dad, yet they were seperate emails, seperate telephone numbers, thought things were weird, as we all had £15 waiting to be converted.
We were the same as you saveing them up for xmas as I wanted to get dd a laptop, the vouchers would of been perfect as they would of swallowed a bulk of it.
But, thank you to Jamtart for her help with a laptop, and Halifax for doing me a very nice 0% deal for 6mths..... (mum and dad are going halves with me), dd is haveing a laptop, but for her bday.....
what i wanted was to ask you some advice about buying electric gifts for gadgets. ive been window shopping for electric gifts and its for my mum so i will be using them tooanyway i saw some kitchen stuff that were about £5-£10 but can i trust they be reliable. I mean a sandwich toastie maker is £5 from wilksinson, im worried it will break within a few days or it blew up. its so attractive the price but im worried that the price means it not good quality. should i just save up for a decent price gadget? i wouldnt be so bothered if it wasnt plugged in appliances. help please!!
If its any help, I have actually found the Argos value kettle last longer than the last 2 that we had pd £30 for. In all honestly a lot of the time ur paying for the name, and even if you purchase a £5 sandwich toaster if anything went wrong you'd still have the same rights.
I find the value / cheaper Wilko items just as good xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hi Guys,
Will try and pop on on Wednesday!
I think for this update, as we are half way through the year you should update us on:
Summary of the things you have set aside for all Christmas festivities e.g.:
- Vouchers
- Cash from cashback sites
- Other cash e.g. eBay
- Loyalty Points
Things you already have e.g.
- How many people you buy for
- How many people you have already got sorted
- How many people you need to buy for still
- How much have you spent?
- How much have you saved?
- How much do you still need?
- Your best moneymaking tip for others on the thread?
- Best bargain up to now..

was going to say ladies and gents (if any), but prefer to say friends.;)
We had some brilliant news, we had the house inspection today by the doggie charity, and we got the all clear :j:j
All system go, we are now just waiting for a phone call to go and meet a rescue Springer,( they match u up with a suitable dog) and if all goes well the dog likes us, we like him (or her), then we're be a pet home again.
Nearly had a heart attack, rang a breeder in relation to a pedigree Springer pup, ( 14 yrs ago we paid £150 for Whisky), the average price is £500:eek::eek:
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Great news about the new dog!! The little one will be made up! I am definitely in the wrong line of work! £500 is ridiculous!

Thats fab news mum2one. Cats are similar prices as well, my sil paid £450 for a bengal kitten, she is beautiful! Funny thing is that my sil ended up not "taking" to her (she wasnt as clean a cat as ours, which my sil just presumed she would be) so my parents-in-law got an expensive pedigree for free! You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0

ooooh exciting - am working on my progress for the 1st as we speak... I only have 19 weeks of pregnancy left to get organised (til my little BOY arrives) - amazing how quickly time flies by - am getting there but need to boost efforts a bit i.e. buying pressies and selling on ebay. My dad gave me the money for a pram - there was a massive discount off the one we wanted at the sale at mothercare ...so we came home and ordered it online, then I had a 10% code and I still went through topcashback so still hoping for some cashback to add to my neutral pot...
all is well see you all on the 1st...look forward to seeing how everyone else is doing...0 -
I got about £10 from my ebay sales last night after fees, have relisted the items that didnt sell and shall put more on this week.
Hows your ebay going Hayley?
