    SUMMER SALES have started!!!
Perfect time to buy pressies to put up!

I always have a stash of cash set aside for the summer sales and the boxing day ones. Most of this goes on gifts & clothes a size or 2 too big for the kids. I HATE paying full price for clothing for the kids. I always try & buy what they will need (and like) in the sales and put up for them, then when they hit that size they have a wardrobe of coordinateing clothes already for them, at a fraction of the price.

    Today I hit ......
Clarks shoe shop - didnt think much of their sale yet, only a few pounds knocked off & the one pair that I did like for LO they didnt have in his width (he has a high instep so this is a must for him in most styles)

H&M - Not many clothes for kids on offer yet, but I did get a couple of nice T-shirts. I find they are always good quality, & a little less mainstream in design than most shops.

Past Times - nothing new from the last sale.

    BHS - nothing I needed/liked

Primark - though no sale on they've got womens vest tops for about 98p, BARGAIN!!

Tesco - went for the uniforms. The £1.50p trousers are AWFUL!!! really cheap in both price and quality, ds1 would need a new pair every week. The 3for 2 offer works out quite nicely. ds1 doesnt need most of his uniform replacing so I got him 3 pairs of trousers in 2 different sizes.
Also got a cat litter scoop for 12p, lol

B&M - always worth a look in, spotted a few potential pressies but the boxes where a bit large so shall have to wait until another day. They also have the cheapest pepsi I've seen so far at 89p for a litre bottle.

Popped into many other shops but no bargains to be had.

M&S have got 3 for 2 on schoolwear _ got 3 pairs of school shoes for £28! Not bad!

Gave up on 'proper' schoolshoes at £40 - £50 per pair last year - and 3 pairs of their girls pump shoe thingies sufficed!

DD2 has only got one year to go.........

Do their shoes last? My daughter gets through about 4 pairs of shoes a term. Not sure if our local M&S does school shoes but would try if they are worth the money.

Thanks for the info sylph! Tell you what, none of the clothes shops have had anything half decent in them for months. i've got loads of vouchers, and everytime i try to spend them, there is nothing there! sad state of affairs!

oh interesting about the school shoes!! My little girl seems to go through them so quick aswell, so would be worth getting some on the offer. she also needs some uniform so might have to look on the internet later and get some quidco for it :D

Have done a few surveys for valued opinions recently - only had two over the whole time i have beenwith them and now i have had two in two days :) so still far from the target but on the way!

Lightspeed is so near a £10 voucher but i just keep getting turned away from the surveys at the moe

    hope everyone is ok xx
