BUffy is there anyway that you could suggest that you could do the meals for a week, try and offer to it to give her a break so she doesn't make an issue of it. Buy the food you need, get £70 from her as an average of what she would spend, then have great pleasure in showing her the bill and give her the change to treat herself this once?

Yes. I might try that. I suggested it before but she didn't like it. She insists on having a proper dinner each night which she cooks sometimes we have takeaway but to be honest most nights I would be happy with toast!

I might try and do the dinners from the freezer? I mean we have two there must be enough in there!!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Depends on what the specification of the machine is, whether the memory is the problem, and which memory it takes.

Probably not, why do you think a memory upgrade is required?

DS (Computer expert~Not!) thinks that lack of memory is why it can be slow & he wants to be able to run wotld of warcraft on it.
The fact he has a 3 month old netbook is imaterial as he knew WOW would not run on it when he got it:mad::mad:

Buffy, cost up how much the food thrown away is and show her. It would probably be the cost of the airfare.

_pale_ Oh GOd don't say that. You are probably right. _pale_

Ah Beanie, little mouse is in a better place now where he won't be eaten by cats ;)

Buffy, I bet you can do a cooked meal everynight for around £40 a week if you cook from scratch and probably have enough left over to put some meals into the freezer for days when you want a takeaway!

WoW will take up too much time he will be spending doing his homework.

Is your machine spec anywhere near this?

I think you'll struggle with the graphics card...
