I am always "disagreeing" over how much food my Mum buys. Normally is she goes away to see my Sister in the US and I have a good old clear out from the cupboards and freezer cos so much is out of date and in my view unhealthy. as she has been ill this year she hasn't been able to go so the cupboard are a joke.

she threw out 15 tins yesterday as they were out of date.

she throws away most of the fruit and veg she buys. she buys 18 packets of crisps each week - not that they all get eaten but that doesnt stop her.

We chuck out SO MUCH food. It makes be bloody ill to think of all the waste. I cannot understand how she spends 60-80 quid on food each week.

I feel really rubbish so this probably sounds very mean but I am so sick of it. If only she would get organised or something we could have dinner for a quarter of the price.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

BUffy is there anyway that you could suggest that you could do the meals for a week, try and offer to it to give her a break so she doesn't make an issue of it. Buy the food you need, get £70 from her as an average of what she would spend, then have great pleasure in showing her the bill and give her the change to treat herself this once?

Z~is it worth increasing the memory on a 5 year old pc?

Depends on what the specification of the machine is, whether the memory is the problem, and which memory it takes.

Probably not, why do you think a memory upgrade is required?

That's why I don't want a cat. James wants one when we're living together but I don't like any animal, human or otherwise, that kills for fun. I'm conveniently ignoring the fact that dogs chase rabbits as I quite like dogs anyway. :D

Dog chase anything that run. Including cars. If it caught a rabbit - assuming it's not a greyhound or something like that - it would probably lick it to death...

Buffy, cost up how much the food thrown away is and show her. It would probably be the cost of the airfare.
