I got over it an ate another one sometime after.
It was burnt too. No one else I have ever told this to has had the same experience.
I can no longer eat custard creams. Can I sue them for putting me off custard creams for life?

I wish someone would put me off Jaffa Cakes!
Gone ... or have I?0 -

Eww..Jaffa Cakes, lets add some Marmite to the list and then we have a picnic!
Seriously though...has anyone ever eaten a burnt custard cream? I can't be only one in the entire country to be unlucky enough to eat 2 of them? If I am then do I have a case for discrimination too?

Sounds like the OP is a compensation seeker. He should just forget it and get a life!!

Is that even a picture of a weetabix? :rotfl: 0 -
Don't send the offending article back to Weetabix - your local trading standards can investigate it for you.
I once discovered a foreign object in an Asda pizza. The mistake I made was taking it back to Asda because they "lost" it blaming the Royal Mail for losing it between the store and head office. Trading Standards generally have a good working relationship with the stores and will investigate on your behalf.
The best you will get out of Weetabix would be vouchers on a goodwill gesture.0 -

Bit OTT, but i spose there will always be people who want something for nothing. :rolleyes:0 -

I wasn't claiming for money, you're a bit prem:rolleyes: - I was trying to establish what the foreign object was and then whether a) it could've damaged my health (idle curiosity!), b) was there a more widespread issue with the production line, e.g. was it one pizza, or a batch that had been contaminated which was more for them than me. I was annoyed when Asda didn't seem to have taken the problem too seriously which is when I spoke to trading standards.0 -
I didnt say you were claiming for money

The suggestion that one should be entitled to more than vouchers is greedy imo.
Saying all of that, my gf sent a tooth she found in some cheap supermarket mince (found while eating it), and asda gave her a £30 voucher, which I thought was jolly nice.0
