But you have said that 'no matter what' and that 'the law is the law' that an income cannot go below the benefit level.

    And that information is incorrect.

An income can go below benefit rates if you are receiving benefits and you are paying a CSA contribution.

    It is very simple.

If you are in employment then the CSA can't take you below basic benifit level, as what would the point of going out to work be, none!

If you are on benifit then you pay the min that is set.

This also give people the incentive to find a job, rather than stay on benifit.

Basicly the gov want people to work so they then become net adders to the system by way of tax and NI. I am sorry if you find this complex but it is very simple really.

The law allows for the CSA to take 40% of your net income to cover maintenance plus arrears, regardless of what your income actually is.

And also very wrong. I wonder what 'minister' you have been talking to now that has gave you duff information.

If you're such a mine of information and are getting people sacked left right and centre, it's odd that you case is still fcuked up.

And there's only one simple thing around here.....

    btw, it's benefit, not benifit.

Which is when we would no doubt get the plethera of NRP's on here bleating about suicide (but still manage a bottle of JD eh?!;)) and how they are going to go on benefits.

Completely ignoring the fact that the arrears situation could have been wholly avoided of course:rolleyes:

Please let me deal with you enquiries LG.

    i. I am dyslexic, so please feel free to correct my spelling any time you feel the need, if it makes you happy, it matters not one way or anyother to me. You do however understand what is being put on here by me and that is the important thing. It is also Dyslexic week this week!

ii. The Minister that I speek of was the former Minister with responsibility forthe CSA, Barroness Hoillis. Her answer was as a result of a written question from my MP in the House of Commons.

iii. As for me getting people sacked, I think you give me to much credit here. I am sorry to say that is out of my power.

iv. As for my case still being a mess, to date I have had 2 ICE investigation in to the case and so far one by the Ombudsman. They have all resulted in letter of appoligy from teh CSA because of the way that the case has been handled. My MP has also had a letter of appoligy from the CEO for the conduct of this case. I have further had more letters than I care to count appoligising for the way the case has been run. To that end I have written to them telling them I dont want any more as they mean nothing!

    v. The arrears on my case, this is even better, and believe me you could not make this up if you tried. The CSA in notes of a meeting that were in the DP file that I recieved clearly state, that the arrears are down to us and that this case is due compensation, because prior to this decision he was compliant with volentary maintaince. The only arrears that were in place at that time prior to their decision were the ones that were run up before the assesment was made, and were being paid off, faster than they were asking for them!

vi. I ask the question now, have you ever found someone that has taken their own life? Two friends of mine have tried to take their own life's, nothing to do with the CSA at all before you think that, they took overdoses. I have also had to go a look for someone that left a note that the police found, he was dead when we found him, again nothing to do with the CSA. I helped the two try to put their lives back togeather, and feel a great sorry for the family of the other fellow. All I ask is that you think of the state that someone has to be in before they try to end their lives, if you see it and I hope you never do, you may understand, just how sad your comment actually is. I have seen a great deal of death in my time and none of it is good, I do as a result have a very dark houmer on it, but that just gets me through it, and I pray that I never have to find another dead body, that has been caused by that person, as life is very presious.

Sorry if the spelling is not up to much, hope you understand.

Selfish. That's the state of mind they have. The most selfish act you can do is end your life and leave others in turmoil for the rest of theirs.

And that is my final word on it.

You must have read it to get to the last point?

My system has no spell check!

As for the rest your comments confirm your stand point, sad as I said!

No I didn't. It caught my eye as my first reply was loading.

You may say sad but yet again you are using your pop psychology when you have no knowledge about me.

Just because you think it is sad doesn't make it wrong. We have differing opinions so are therefore both correct.

What is sad however, is the devastation left when one person was so consumed by themselves that they saw this route with no thought to the people that would have to carry a living nightmare until the day they died.

I actually don't understand most of what you say - I just guess as your spelling is so appalling. My point about your spelling is that it doesn't make you look good particularly when you are trying to make out as if you know the in and outs of everything.

Thanks for the heads up on dyslexic week - your point is?

As for the rest...I took one look at it, noticed it ws yet another rambling post no doubt littered with inaccuracies and spelling and grammatical errors (dyslexia you may have, you also have spell checker) so I am not going to bother reading it....I can't be bothered as I can't be bothered with the way you change your mind about things depending on what day of the week it is
Loopy with all due respect i think your being a tad harsh with Blob his post made perfcet sense regardless of any mistakes, personally i'm not bothered with spelling grammer etc as long as the post is clear then that's all that really matters.

ETA: Someone who does take their own life is seriously sick, they are not thinking rationally, they do not think about what happens after they are gone. Some people just want to end the pain that they are in, to joe public it might seem like petty pain but who are we to sit and judge. Everyone has a limit to what they can take, some people can just solider on and get on with it, sadly for others it's just too much.
