- Offer the 130k or whatever you need to
- Wait a couple of weeks till the other interested party is gone
- Reduce offer
Dont follow this advice, treat others the way you wish to be treated, that is just sooooooo out of order! Ok I bit!:rotfl:
They have accepted another offer, move on.Pawpurrs x0 -
I've thought about it and i could take blacksheeps advice, but in my head i've already moved on...its not worth the hassle. i believe in fate, i'm happy with my decisions so far but yes, its time to move on0

the rule of thumb i always use is to make the first offer around 15% below the asking price which is around 17k below asking price of this flat.If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0

i was all for tgetting friends to make a smaller offer and any other games of hat nature but i think going to that extreme is a bit low.
no different to what sellers do when mystery other offers come in (or real ones for that matter) after your offer has been accepted. I agree neither way is nice, but in a system that is open to abuse one way I wouldn't close my mind to the other.0
