today me and my daughter ate out as we had a girly shopping day
the rest of the family had a mish mash of odds and sods of things left over in the freezer
Tuesday - is always egg and chips
Wednesday - cannaloni ( spelling ) found the cannaloni tubes when I was tidying out the kitchen , going to use some tinned tomatoes that I've had for a while and the mince was on special offer in tescos
Thursday , my daughter cooks , this week is pizza and jacket potatoes and coleslaw and I've bought some of that french bread that you bake yourself and we're going to make it into garlic bread
Friday - dalesteaks, crushed potatoes ( made them on Saturday for the first time and they were nice ) and veg
Saturday - got friends round for dinner, making chilli and vegetable rissoto and got a new recipe to try out which is like cheesecake in a dish
Sunday - pork chops with home made sage and onion stuffing , roast potatoes, mash , yorkshire puddings and veg

    Hi

OH goes quite late in the evening and he asks if they will reduce further if someone is about. Its not very often that we get a deal this good, but there are deals to be had if you are willing to shop or able too and weird hours.

I'm going to give this ago too, I need my gallbladder taking out but i just found out im pregnant so they wont do it now. i am a nightmare for take aways, which i can no longer eat, so i am hoping this will help....aswell as help me save some pennies for our holidays!
I had mine taken out 3 years ago so sympathise with the pain you'll probably be going through  Be careful with the cheese I found in the end that I couldn't eat it or eggs in any form. Once the baby is born you'll be able to have your gall bladder removed and you'll feel like a new woman :T

This was meant to be my plan for Monday and Tuesday:

    Monday
B: Fresh mango (for me - on offer 29p at Lidl) Strawberries (on offer for DH) + yogurt
L: Chicken salad (2 thighs leftover from Sunday) + pitta
D: Veggie pasta bake for me, sausages and leftover 'bubble and squeak' for DH

    Tuesday
    B: As Monday
L: Soft cheese on bagels, salad
D: Fish and veggies for me, Boston baked beans for DH. Corn-on-cob

Ended up having to take the strawberries back to Lidl yesterday morning as they were furry (only bought them the day before along with some cherry toms which were going the same way) and the mango wasn't ripe so could only eat half. DH bought back some co-op meatballs which were 1/2 price and some reduced mushrooms (he says that was his attempt at 'frugality' - bless him he doesn't really get the concept that I NEED to use the freezer contents up but I didn't have the heart to shout at him and they were lovely!) so we had pasta and meatballs.

This morning, there were some mushrooms left so I had them on toast, and my bag of salad (Lidl again!) was looking a bit sad so I whizzed it up for soup. Saved myself a mango, the yogurt (I treated DH to a bacon roll in the canteen at work with the Lidl refund!) bagel and the soft cheese. Two 'free' meals I think that makes!:j

Poor you muckypup - no eggs!!

    Have a good day everyone.
  • Re: Roasted Squash Koftas

Just had these, actually pretty tasty... add a clove of garlic and a teaspoon of chilli powder if you fancy pepping it up a bit!
