Story of my day so far - I had it all written out, and pressed the back button by mistake and lost everything :(

    Saturday: Out at MIL's
Sunday: Homemade Chicken Nuggets with Jacket Potato wedges and salad
Monday: Spaghetti Bolognese, potentially with garlic bread
Tuesday: Omelette, or other quick thing. OH might be out, might not so I can't plan - grr!
Wednesday: Chicken Fajitas with extra veggies
Thursday: Lamb Tikka Kebabs with salad and pitta breads
Friday: Hen Day. This might not happen due to arguments between friends... (best laid plans of mice... *sigh*) I'll still have people over so I shall probably do nachos or a massive risotto. If the whole thing happens, it'll be cocktails and a take-away.
Saturday: Homemade Cornish Pasties (I've got a recipe on a tetowel I shall probably try). There'll be some from the freezer, but since there's a chance we'll go to the BMF show that day, it could be good.

Breakfasts will be cereals, lunches will be sandwiches. Any snacks will be homemade (if I get around to making them, some cookies).

SunnyGirl, I'm thinking of you and your Dad. (((hugs)))

Feeling quite proud of myself as this morning I meal planned right up to the end of May! There are only a couple of repeated dishes too, so an achievement for me, as I tend to get stuck in a rut. Will just post this week's plan though:

Sa: Pesto, creme fraiche, veggie bacon & pea pasta.
S: Cheese and beans jacket potatoes with salad.
    M: Spanish omelette & salad.
T: Spinach & sweetcorn crispbake, brocolli & boiled potatoes.
W: Chicken & mushroom pie (OH)/veggie sausages (me), mash & brocolli.
    Th: Vegetable stir-fry with noodles.
    F: Dinner @ M&D's.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I'm going to give this a try for the first time. It'll coincide with starting a new job on Monday :j :D I've been unemployed for 2 months, so should have really done this when I was off. Doh!

    Anyway...i'll start from today: -

Saturday - Snacky dinner (rice cakes/cheese/fruit) [I had a pub lunch so wasn't really hungry]
Sunday - Chinese takeaway (to celebrate the new job!)

    Monday - Meatballs with pasta/spaghetti
    Tuesday - Meatballs with pasta/spaghetti *
Wednesday - Cheese and tomato omelette with salad
Thursday - Going to try http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9063/spiced-chickpea-and-potato-fryup with some HM bread of some description if I can be bothered making some
    Friday - Salmon with couscous/noodles
Saturday - Homemade pizza with salad
    Sunday - Vegetable stirfry

    * might swap with Sunday, depends if I fancy it 2 days in a row

Let's see how long it lasts :p
