I've never had to take a dash out to get them sprayed for tears, burns, stains, rips etc.

Just buy the 2 plastic surrounds for the dash from a renault parts supplier, ebay or a dealer. I would say £50 max for parts and fit them.

    The parts damaged are removable.

I shall therefore gloat at how easy a job it is to change the heater on my car. Wiper motor off (4 nuts plus washers plus power connector). Feed and return hoses off. Unclip surround. Heater slides right out. An hour job at most including refilling coolant system.

I cant honestley see them being able to paint it with the dash in place ::)

why dont you just try them rather than assuming.

It's not air "freshener". It's VOC chemical air pollution.

If you want to fix it then get a dash out of a crashed car at the scrapyard and swap them over.
    Happy chappy
