I won a holiday but 3 weeks before departure they have cancelled it

Sorry to hear about your problem...but you have called in the right people, although they do have limited powers they do get results, I was having a dispute with Comet head office and getting no where, called trading standards who said they would look into it, phoned comet head office told them trading standards involved, problem solved same day. Good luck I hope you have a favourable outcome, i would take it all the way if I was you, please keep us informed.

Well I got back from the weekend in Amsterdam today and it was wonderful. As an apology they upgraded us to an executive suite at the Hilton Hotel for 3 nights, bought in complimentary vintage champagne and strawberries every evening and a pizza on the last night. The break was out of this world and we wouldnt have been able to afford to go on a luxury weekend like that unless we won it. I'm still floating on air and cant believe how lovely it all was.

Well, I have just read this from the beginning. How unbelieveable! I cannot believe that someone would write you you and tell you that it has all been cancelled in such a way! But I am so glad that you got a good outcome and it seems that they made up for it (although they are still hideous!). So, did they apologise formally?
