I won a holiday but 3 weeks before departure they have cancelled it

Can you clarify, have you actually confirmed that the booking has been cancelled at the hotel? and/or flight?

If these were actually booked then sometimes it costs as much to cancel them as it does to keep them. And have you actually confirmed that this has been cancelled, or is it that you just can't get through to this illusive women?

So are you saying I should contact the airline and hotel direct to confirm these have been cancelled?

It's getting to the point now where I want to wash my hands of the whole thing but I dont really want to let it drop. I want other people to know about it at least.

It's certainly put me off entering any other holiday comps.

There must be a regulatory board for magazines etc try and find who it is and threaten to complain to them. Are TNT part of a group of magazines might be worth finding out which company owns them and complain that way.

I'm watching this thread too. Please keep us posted with any developments. I think the way you have been treated is terrible and I am hoping that you are eventually going to get some satisfaction.

LOL, you can hardly call going to McDonalds self harming!!!

I've posted copies of all our confirmations of the hotel and flights etc off to Trading Standards today. Now they are going to deal with it on our behalf. So I'll let you know of any developments.
