Oh, I don't know? The filet de boeuf au jus with carrots, courgettes & onion mash that I had last time was very good. There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more...0

A nice hunk of beef there. I think everyone should just upgrade to Upper Class in order to gain a decent meal.I'm going for my QuidCo £million!

Vegetarians do eat cake! (and puddings).Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. - Proust0

Vegan chocolate cake or something dairy related is pretty hard to make and won't be found on many airline menus. Vegan and vegetarian tend to share the same meal.I'm going for my QuidCo £million!

Vegetarians are gay.
Nothing like a good wholesome hearty steak served with chips cooked in lard, deep fried onion rings, Asda smart price garden peas and a heft dollop of tomato ketchup.
Hmm, ive put on half a stone just thinking of it.0 -

@ Sturll : lmao !!!!!
In relation to the above, I believe the reason they dont have a GU pot on the pre order veggies is that the same meal / tray set up is used for a variety of different pre order selections.
Saving pennies. Im sure that if the flight is not full to the rafters, crew will normally be able to find you a bit of cake or chocolate/raspberry GU pot:DI am a Travel AgentMy company’s ABTA number is V2043. Have you actually eaten the 'spinach ricotta'? It is VILE. VILE VILE VILE. The person serving me couldn't explain what I was given, it was a green mush and totally unrecognisable as anything I have ever eaten before.
That might be why people dont like it. VILE. Inedible for anyone with taste buds. Some people might eat it if they are starving but please feed back how VILE this is.
This is the first I've heard about it having a 'name', it was unrecognisable.
VILE.
As much as I shouldn't say it, I do agree that it does not look the best ( trying to be PC )
On most routes they are alternating with a Italian Penne pasta, which is going down well with punters at the mo. I think this is mainly ex USA so please dont quote me on your next VS flight " Well Aiden said it was pasta " :rotfl:
Catering figures are pretty much to the letter at the mo with no extra's in the event that a passenger does not like it. But from a personal note, I will always try and accommodate people by trying to find something from another cabin or a salad etc. It isn't always possible but I will always try

I'm not veggie but will sometimes choose the veggie option...I'm only here to add that if the veggie option when they come around with the 3 is risotto, don't touch it with a 10-foot pole...we were told the veggie option was 3-cheese Tortellini which I'd had before and was pretty decent for airline food...but lo and behold it was (I think) spinach risotto...now, really, risotto that's been pre-cooked and then steamed, on a plane? That's never going to end well.
Full credit to the flight attendant who did come back to me with a chicken meal once she was sure she had enough to not run short...I was very grateful for her help...I'm normally not a picky eater and will eat what's given to me but this was diabolical...it really took a lot for me to decide I'd rather not eat than eat the risotto.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
