Today I got 6 x Expert Mens shaving gel 38p (BOGOHP)
and the Krazy Croc toddler wipes are on BOGOF (there is a PC voucher for 50p off these if you are lucky enough to have one - I wasn't as I had already used it when not on BOGOF
)
Also got the Gillette mens set reduced to £5.36 (in silver bag), 3 x blades, 1 x razor with blade = 4 blades and gel) OH v pleased as 4 x blades normally £8. xx
:kisses2:Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why we call it the present.audaces fortuna iuvat fortune favours the bold0 -
First bit of bootsing in a while - have mostly been to places with teeny tiny boots and no decent offers and no acm's for vouchers
Today was in High St Kensington Boots which is massive and has a really good (posh) selection of makeup and toiletries.
They had the reductions on the mens toiletries (Hackett hair things and pre-shave oil all around 75p each, TB hair products again 75p - £1 and some FCUK similar price). Although a lot had gone already. They had some FCUK Ltd Edition body wash reduced to £1.25 and I assumed was in 342 but didn't go through and on checking with SA she said it wasn't part of the promotion and 'is reduced already' - don't they realise one discount is never enough!!! (I'd paid for the body washes withouth realising hadn't got 342 and so got a binnie, I got the SA to refund 2 of the body-washes but didn't have to give binnie back!!!! So used it for the Olay Total Effects Cleanser for 86p)
I wombled a 50 pts NC voucher and got an eyeshadow duo with it.
I got the Photo album voucher and they did have some albums on clearance but nothing caught my eye - even as presents. Must have missed the good stuff!
Also noticed Method baby shampoo (3 in 1) and baby bath wash was reduced from £3.99 to £2 (SEL) and in Mother & Baby mag they have a £1 off voucher - not sure if this would work together - I've spent enough on my niece already!!
No bargains on make up bags and couldn't see any s&g reduced anywhere.
No signs of any proper clearance anywhere in store - guess the Kensington lovelies are too posh for bargains!!!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Mimi if I could choose a celeb friend it would soooo be Nigella.
Have fun with the recipies, no doubt you'll tweek it somehow & turn it into a mimi creation.
Do go praise the SA as often one only complains about staff. Get him on the staff notice board for the right reasons & you'll have a happy scanner in your pocket to boot!0 -
Hi everyone. :hello:
Well all I can say is why have my posts from yesterday been deleted.
Does any one know why they have been removed?
I posted a jokey reply to a post that had also been removed.
Then a response to another forum member.
Now my posts have gone.
How can this be so.
Surely only I can delete my own posts.
If someone is stalking my posts and having them deleted, then I feel abused.
Please can anyone enlighten me. Thanks guys.:)0 -

HI jazzteddy.
I thought I was going madbut at least I now know that posts are "disappearing" and it's not just my imagination!
Very mysterious thoughI didn't think there was anything wrong with any of your posts, they always make me smile
Hope you sort out what has been happening. I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?0 -

I dont know if you saw but the forums were shut for 'routine maintenance' for about an hour yesterday-they were due to come back online at about 5.30pm. Could it be that your posts were deleted then? Had your account had any other problems? Hope you manage to get it sorted, or find out what has gone wrong.“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -

Were they the ones with the funny bear in? I thought it was you having a bad 'bear' day! I was going to show my DD, she loves teddies and that one was cute (in a scary kinda way :rotfl:)When I couldn't find it again I thought maybe I'd seen them on another thread, or I was going mad-
On topic (sorry) Greenford, no S+G reduced, the mens hacket is still above the £1 level, not much mens FCUK left, clearance has hundreds (well, at least 50) of the No.7 highlights powder in peach for £4.99, a bit of suncream on clearance, not much else, bit disappointing really

Does anyone know if you can get a deal on glasses at Boots? Need a new prescription filled, and at D&A I could have new lenses (basic ones) put in my old frames for £90 or buy a whole new set (frame and lenses) for around £159 and get a second pair free. Would the price be similar at Boots? Or are both D&A and Boots overpriced? tia
My glasses were really expensive (just under £500!) and because the old ones had broken I had to get new ones fast so didn't have time to shop around. Boots was doing a get free glasses offer but because I am so short-sighted, the 'free' glasses would have cost a huge amount. In the end the assistant negotiated a discount which meant I ended up paying about £15 extra for non-varifocal distance sunglasses. When I posted this, someone else said she had been given a 20% discount. So you could try asking. You can't pay with points at the opticians and you don't earn as many points either. (To top it all, the prescription was wrong as I discovered when I went back this Monday. So now I am juggling sunglasses for driving and two very old -- and different -- glasses for non-driving use, one of which digs into the side of my face and one of which gouges holes in my nose. Great fun!)0 -

SA over-rode fridge frames for me as the SEL says quite clearly on any frame.0 -

Hi I joined HSA through QUIDCO (£77 cashback) and ended up paying about £15 for 2 pairs of glasses once I had been credited with the refund from HSA (£70). I had a dental check up too on HSA and ended up quids in.
