I found some reduced hugo boss purple body lotions in westfield boots. I paid £3.33 after £5 fragrance voucher and I earned another hairy:D...and wombled 5 more:rotfl:

No other bargains in wesfield. Shepherds bush (small store) had some MH shampoo on the clearance shelf for £3 odd (they can keep it:rotfl:) they had brag books for £1.50, sanctuary nail oil, £1.99 and a few other things on clearance.

Bond street has a new clearance section. Lots of HE, CW and UG spa rituals shampoos and conditioners. All priced £2 odd. I got a few of each:D

Also, the spa rituals in the box is reduced to £4 odd. Too expensive for me as I got the boxes in Kilburn the other day for £2 odd and only paid pennies after redeeming my hairies.

nine tails, well done for spotting the la roche GWP...again:T I will keep a look out for them. They sound really nice:D

Slightly off topic but I spotted the Slim Fast smoothies in my local Home Bargains the other day - 3 bottles for £1.80 odd. Thought it might help some folk as the healthclub has now finished.

Hi, I tried the expert glitch today and it did not work. I picked up the hair loss treatment spray and the 400ml anti-dandruff shampoo and the 400ml anti-dandruff conditioner. These should have been £2.49 full price, but with a third off were 1.65. I used the SS till and scanned the two bottles first and the spray last and then used the coupon. It came up "deal qualification not met". An assistant came over and said I need to spend £5 or more and as the items were less this is why it was not recognising the deal. She reckoned I was only 2p short of £5, i.e 2 x £2.49, so suggested I get something else. I thought why not as I believed it would take off the full £9.00 from the spray anyway. I picked up some anti-dandruff shampoo for men and tried again at the SS till. Still no sucess, got the same message. The assistant voided the transaction and took me to a till. It was still playing up, so she put the 3 items through first and then put the spray through as a .00 transaction. This meant I had 3 x £1.65 to pay for my other items, so ended up paying £4.95:eek: Anyone any idea why this didn't work at the SS tills? Do you think someone has caught on or did I pick the wrong things up. I am sure I read on here that people had been getting the anti-dandruff stuff for 26p after the £9.00 came off.

I did it today with 1 x anti dandruff shampoo for sensitive scalp, 1 x hair loss spray and 1 x dry scalp lotion and it worked for me 58p to pay.

Just read through earlier posts and see that it works in some stores and not in others and that it may be to do with the way the SS tills are set up. Have got 2 more free spray vouchers so will try another store and void transaction if it doesn't work and avoid assistants!

There are always glitches at boots, so the thread is worth a daily read.

    Major one at the moment:
Pop your advantage card in the machine and hopefully you will get a voucher for a free hair loss spray at £9.99, when you spend £5 on the expert range. Currently it is at £6.66 on offer. So it actually knocks £3.33 of your bill.

Additionaly the till is seeing the £5 spend before offer amounts. There is currently 1/3 of some hair care in the range and 2 for £4 on some facial things in the blemish range.

    Example...
boots expert dry scalp shampoo, was £2.93, now £1.95

boots expert anti-d shampoo, was £2.49, now £1.65

boots expert spray, was £9.99, now £6.65

Till sees you spent over £5 on expert things, spend is 26p as 1.95+1.65-3.33

Also when you spend £5 you get a £2 off haircare voucher. I have got 2 reduced items at 1.11 and so spent 22p on nearly £10 worth of goodies

    :)
Thank you and minimoneyme . Time to blow the dust off my advantage card and give it a go i think.

I wonder if the shampoo for men was classed as being a different brand, due to it being men's expert? Just thinking back to problems we've had with men's ranges with skincare tillspits?
