    hurrah :j success at last!!

I got the Ted Baker sets x6 - 3 of each - I have a lot of males to purchase for  - there were loads of sets left near to the tills at the front of the macc store

I now have so much men's stuff I might set up my own shop ;)

Also there was some other stuff reduced - to much cheaper han .com prices

    i got this http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=50283&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051 for £1.23

this http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=854416&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051 for £1.49 these can go with the conditioner that i had picked up in m'cr arndale the other day

m'cr arndale also had various klorane shampoos and conditioners reduced to £1.13 http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=854426&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051

in macc - i also noticed that pantene had been reduced on the sels - but the shelves were clear.

charles worthington hair stuff is on offer, but some have reduced sels as well.

this http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=51003&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051 was reduced again to £1 something as were some other bits and pices in the ug range

also was successful with 100 botanics points - the sa tried a 2nd one till would not co - operate

so it seems that various haircare iems are the subject of reduced sels

my receipt said that I had spent £26 and saved £74 :T:T
bargain shopping is the only way to shop :j

    Molthedoll,

I see you mentioned reduced stuff in mcr arndale, where are the clearance shelves please, or were they just reduced sels on the normal shelves? Thankyou :)

Lots of Cadbury's Cream Eggs on clearance in Queensgate, Peterborough this morning. 50p for a box of 3. (Dated 07/2009).
Saw other mini egg packs, but sorry can't remember what they were, but they were on the clearance thing, too.

Hi Gemmzie. Just to re-assure you that it is highly likely you will receive all the items that you have ordered. It just shows "out of stock" as there is a little re-order button next to the entire list of items you have requested incase you wanted to order the same thing again in the future.

When I shopped at the Christmas sale I had 15 items, 11 of which showed as out of stock on my order list an hour or so after I had placed the order. They all arrived safe and sound! :T

I was in Boots Aintree (Liverpool) yesterday and they had lots of the Ted Baker sets just as you walked in near the tills.

I got 3 of these this morning in aintree and I got charged £14 odd, I was gutted that the glitch didnt work for me, I felt like crying cos I made a special trip there to get the sets:cry:

They wont go to waste though with fathers day coming up but I really only wanted them because of the glitch.
    I luv freebies

    Morning everyone

I havent been bootsing for a while mainly through lack of finance but will be visiting one store today. I intend buying £10 phone credit so i understand this will get me a £5 fragrance voucher. I also need to purchase at some point in the near future a bottle of Touch of Pink and a DKNY summer aftershave, can this voucher be used against either of these.

Should anyone know any bargains in the Plymouth Store for little or no spend I should be grateful to know. I have 3 of the No7 linelift vouchers but havent been to the machine for a while so is there anything I can combine them with to create a bargain.

Thanks for your help - Judy

You can use the fragrance voucher against the Touch of PInk but not the DKNY i think.

Went to Boots earlier & found the TB Sets (Green - didn't realise it was available on the Blue sets till I just caught up on here!). The male SA looked astonished by the total & said to me "Is that price correct?" (Like I'm gonna say "NO"!! I do feel better reading on here that Head Office know about the mis-price, though!!) I just mumbled that it was reduced AND on 3-4-2. He said "It just came up at £42 first? How much are they each?" I just shrugged! He looked like he was gonna call someone over then changed his mind & let me go. What made it worse was that the alarm sounded as I was going through the exit & I don't know if it was me that set it off. I paused for a second, but decided to carry on, cos I felt like a shoplifter already!! I didn't want someone to check the receipt & decide I couldn't have them after all! I half expected a hand on my shoulder & to be dragged back into the shop! There were 4 blue sets still left & now I want to go back for them but I don't think I dare!! Its DH's birthday tomorrow, so guess what he is getting as a present!! LOL!

    Also went to:

Crown Point (Denton) - only clearance was some No 7 lipsticks (£4.**) including a couple of the Lip Laquers, No 7 Highlights (£10!!! Where is the bargain in that?!) & Age Rewind Foundation (think it was £8.**)

Stockport (Peel Centre) - small clearance - some random perfumes, including a Police Wings (£4.**) & a couple of "SO" perfumes for £2.**
Not much else to report, just a couple of toiletry items with broken lids, etc. Nothing worth getting.

Stockport (Merseyway) - only found a clearance shelf with some reduced nail items (including false toenails!) some Mr Mascara mirrors & other Mr M bits, some manicure sets & some false lashes. No real bargains.

The Fort (Manchester) - had an end of aisle clearance, usual place (near the electrical shelves) with lots of mens bits & bobs (Fish, Charles Worthington & KOS items) around £1-£2, incontinence pants & random bits & bobs. Nothing worth a special journey, but this was on Thursday so might have changed by now!

Am I the only person who NEVER finds the clearance shelves in either Manchester Arndale or Trafford Centre??? Everytime I read on here about the bargains other people find, I wonder about my eyesight!!!

    S xx
Everything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:
