I went to a store today that is split in 2, that is they have a store on one side of the street & a store on the other.
One side is beauty other is pharmacy type stuff but both stock shampoos.

I went in store 1 and a member of staff had loads of shampoo in a basket, she went to the till & bought the lot so I went and looked on the shelf but she had cleared the shelf!
So I scuttled off to store 2 but when I took the same shampoo to the till (fructs & elvive) it wasn't reduced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It was scanning at FULL PRICE!:mad:

What a scam!
I am disgusted!

When I asked the manager she gave a feeble excuse that they are changing the store plan, and store 2 wont be selling shampoo anymore!
RANT OVER ! :rotfl:
Bloody Boots....when are you gonna get a bit of consistancy!!

I hate that too!! and espeacially when you KNOW they probably will be reducing it soon...but when they do reduce it....they're all gone too and you're too late!!!:(:mad::( or SA's come out with excuses so you can't really get the best out of the offers!
pegginout-you're right--boots really need to be more consistent with pricing!

I found them at the front of the store on a stand on their own, along with the other promotional items. They were marked as full price but went through as the glitch.

I also saw the Ted Baker sets on their own end-of-aisle stand, nowhere near the mens aisle.

Hi, just to let you know that I managed to get some of the Ted Baker sets at the Edinburgh Straiton branch today. They were on a 342 stand at the entrance, and there are still a few left. I was convinced that I would get to the till only to find that Boots would have fixed the glitch, but yay, success! The s/a didn't even bat an eyelid. Thank you to OP!

Clearance in general was typically rubbish. There are a couple of photo frames for £1.80ish if anyone has vouchers left, but otherwise it's mostly overpriced make-up. They did have a load of baby monitors reduced to £44.50 or so, though. They had BT ones (sorry, not sure which model) and video ones, and there were a few of each. Also, No 7 clearance stand (right of door) has liquid foundations at £3.50.

I can concur - the Ted Baker Wash Bags I found today were on a freestanding display stand away from the main men's section (sel was marked as full price £14.67), along with some other brands of men's sets.

I bought some today and the SA was baffled when 3 went through for £7.32, he had to cancelled the 1st transaction and tried again willing the till the correct itself, after much head scratching and trying to work out what happened he just gave in and said it's cheaper to buy 3 than 1!!!:rotfl:

Hi all. Just to say re the Ted Baker glitch. When I asked in my local the other day where they kept them I was told that the gift sets are only available at Christmas time yeah right

Hi girls and Mimi (nice to see you back even if it is a one-off and with good news about your dad too :A)

Basildon town and the retail park has lots of both types of Ted Baker sets, marked up as 1/2 price and on 342 near the tills on their own stands Go get em!

Lots of clearance photography / computer bits @ £1, £3 etc. Quite a few of the magnetic photo frames @99p.

Boots own pantene style shampoo and conditioner @25p a bottle SEL

Dove (coloured hair - salmon bottle) shampoo and conditioner 55p SEL

Elvive "Frizzy hair" conditioner 55p SEL

Klorane (the french stuff I was on about last time but couldn't remember the name ) various shampoos, dry shampoo sprays, conditioners and intensive conditioners around the £1.50 mark from around £6 SEL. Very nice quality stuff. Not all of them are reduced though so don't get caught out!

Also whilst waiting at the tills I saw some little tins of stuff today (lip balm or something) with reduced SEL to £1.25. Hth

Ted Baker sets - amazing glitch!
They were in stock at Picadilly Circus - loads of them. The SA was everso friendly, he said they were xmas stock too. He didn't realise they were even half-price as they were not marked so, but was quite excited by it, said he'd get some for himself!
Also the clearance stand is back in Picadilly Circus, it had disappeared for a while. Some jemma kid make up wipes for 86p worth mentioning, other than that some extravagant false eylashes and false nails!

In Town centre they had lots of reduced sels on shampoo Head and Shoulders hth someone.

They had them in Cannock today. Not sure if that is too far for you to travel?
