Well i went to Trafford Centre and it was rubbish lol
However i did get 4 x Girard Perfume New York Nights gift sets. 30ml perfume, body wash and shower gel reduced to £8.57 each - manager of the perfume counter served me and gave me a bag of samples too hehe.0 -
I have got great vouchers from the ACM and I took my SD too and she got great offers. And she doesn't spend much money in boots.0

I bought a box of paracetamol and the points went on fine, no forms, no questions.
has anyone else done this wothout any questions from the SA?
thanx:o
(SA's at my local luuurrrrve to read the t&c's or any other way to stop me boosting my points!)0 -
Checked the ACM today, just in case the Highlights Voucher was there for me. But it wasn't.
I had hoped to be able to combine it with the 1/2 price Line Lift and get the No7 Gwp for £6.50. Nevermind. I can wait a while longer.
Is it just me or is Boots a bit boring at the moment.
I use to read this bit of Grabbit all the time and I am sure that there were more bargains to be had.0 -
Does anyone know whether I will be able to get a refund onto a gift card for some L'Oreal eyeshadow that I bought? It is unopened and unused but I can't prove it beyond doubt as I don't think it is sealed in any way. I also no longer have the receipt.
I bought it recently as a perk me up purchase because it was lovely and sparkly (don't ask, I know it's mad :embarasse) but I just don't need it and it's making me feel guilty. :undecided
Thanks all.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -

The highlights voucher, this time round, is only free when you buy a No7 cosmetic. I'm pretty sure the line lift is skincare, not cosmetics, so this combination wouldn't work (unless you got an SA to manually override it).
I agree with the boring Boots comment too - in my local stores, there are still loads of mega-reduced SELs for nailcare, accessories, and mens products, but hardly any products on the shelves (and the KOS is all back up to full price grrrr).0 -

i dont think they accept returns/refunds on cosmetics for hygiene reasons. dont quote me on that though as im not 100% sure, maybe someone else can confirm for make up. i got a refund recently on clinique lotion as it was the wrong stuff0 -

If you don't have a receipt they won't refund at all I'm afraid, even onto a giftcard - they do exchange things (I've done this several times with sealed toiletries and things I've had a reaction to and they've been lovely) but as kerrydrobertson said I don't think they even do exchanges on cosmetics. There's no harm in asking though!Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Hi, I got a free highlights voucher (£10) and bought 2 nail varnishes at £6.10 each but MIL gave me the money for her nail varnish and wouldn't let me pay for it. It appears that even giving a free high lighter voucher still entitles you to a GWP if your original total was over £20.
It was in real terms £12.20 for 2 nail varnishes, highlighter and GWP, but as it was a shared pruchase it made it a little bit more bargainous! I offered both the highlights powder and the GWP to MIL but she refused either of them. She's great!Boots: £107.xx on AC :j
