Maltesers - watch out for new (smaller) pouches

Somerfield had Malteser pouches on offer for the past fortnight. Last week I bought 2 packs (175gms each). Went in yesterday and bought another 2 packs. Got them home and they are now only 135gms! Somerfield are charging the same price but I don't know about other supermarkets. The packaging is the same. I only noticed the difference when i was putting the new ones away and thought they didn't feel as full as the other ones.

Oh gosh that is awful, i would phone up somerfield and complain as the new pouches which are currently on offer are the larger family share bags and they are the 230g bags, the 175g share bags are what they have always done.:j:j:j0

wouldn't surprise me if they keep the smaller bags at the same price hoping we won't notice cos of the new larger share packs!!Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!0

They did this with head and shoulders, the big bottles. I thought i was going crazy at first, so i just bought them.
Got home and compared with my old bottles and they are tiny compared to the original, and i swear cost a bit morex

It is not just Somerfield. Can't say too much but that is the size they are now and the old price. It is happening to the double milky way as well. Smaller size but old price. Perhaps it is a government initative to get us all slim. lolAnyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Well, I hope Poundland keep stocking the boxes (147g if I remember rightly) for a £1.0 -
