what is it with Women and Handbags and shoes for that matter?
Whenever the question 'But haven't you got 10 other handbags/shoes' is aksed by me, the answer is always something like 'Yes, but not in this colour/size/shape/style*' *delete as appropriate.
Can one of you explain the handbag/shoe thing to me?

nope, and if you don't understand me by now, you never will.......

Pepe I haven't really got any money to offer all peeps full and finals but three of my creditors have off their own back offered me settlements. However, I am a bit unsure as to how it reflects on my credit file...will it say partially settled...settled in full  or does it even matter..i am not likely to want or get credit for another six years...

On the one hand I am wanting to pay ALL debts incurred - just to have the satisfaction (nuts or what!) and on the other I want to get rid of my debt and beat buffy to the dfdate...

You have to make it v clear to a Creditor that if you accept their offer ( try and knock them down a bit anyway:D) that you would expect your File to be showing the debt as Settled.

    Keep me posted. x

edit; if you def dont want any Credit for 6 years then, no, it doesnt matter.

    Something ike this Sammy....

Thank you very much for your kind offer to accept ( say ) £2000 as F & F settlement of my debt. Whilst it is a more than reasonable offer, with my Financial Situation being as it is I find that I will only be able to raise £1600 towards this figure.

I have managed to raise this money through the kindness of my Family ( on the understanding that it is used for this purpose only and as a once only offer) and would ask you to consider this as a suitable amount for the Settlement.

Thank you once again, your understanding of my offer would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to your early reply.

It can't be the same for all women can it - that handbags and shoes are their biggest weakness and there is ALWAYS room for another pair or another bag?

I am sure it is genetic as I don't get it........sorry Maz......

Stan - I don;t really do shoes...just boots in winter and flip flops in summer...although I did buy a great pair of shoes from clarkes that have lasted me years..

I went to rehab and was weaned off handbags.....although I find I am being truly tested on here at the minute.....

Work day has ended see you all shortly on the other side...
