I treat it as a taxable expense, it's fine as long as you give the items to charity, which I'm sure we all do. ;)

Thanks for that - I was beginning to get slightly confused too. ;)

I did 3 on Friday, and found the reports hard work, repetitive, but got there in the end. Feel free to PM if I can be of any help.

Well, if you can get their site to see that I've filled in the boxes and stop it telling me to select an option when I have, then go right ahead...

Has anyone done any ABAI phone shops and having trouble completing the report?

I did one on Saturday and the drop down menus were blank - not showing up any options.

Left it for a bit then went back and started again, but the same thing was happening, so in the end I just made a note in the next comment box to explain, and sent it through.

Not heard anything back from them..................yet!!

With regard to tax etc I'm doing exactly what my spreadsheet tells me to do lol. The fee goes in the fee column, the re-imbursement goes in the reimbursement column and my mileage goes in its column. It then gives me a profit/loss figure. As TNS pay mileage which column do I add this too? Did five jobs today and have just finished the questionnaires - oh and neither of my horsies won - i'm much better at footbal!!!

Hmm, hot on the heels of TNS changing the brief of the Bank Jobs, they have done it again!

I accepted a supermarket phone shop for them, and I'm just looking at the brief and they now want me to visit the pharmacy counter as well, and purchase a hay-fever product which will cost far more than the reimbursement.

    Anyone else had this problem?
They are becoming more and more like RE everyday:eek:

I found the ABAi phone jobs not too bad. I think if you're used to GfK phones then you can easily apply the logic to these ones. Same here with the blank boxes - what was that all about. I think the questions asked were quite poor and sometimes a little ambiguous. E.g. Why did the MOS recommend that? Erm, shouldn't you ask them not me? Think I just wrote random stuff in that box on whether or not the things they recommended were appropriate. I'm sure they'll fine tune the questionnaire for future visits...they certainly need to. Fee's OK though. :)

Reimbursement but to keep track of the actual amount it's probably worth your time to creating another column for paid mileage.

I would call them if I was you. Their jobs cancel themselved after a while. Some clients are cancelled on the deadline and some after 24hrs. You never know when yours will get ancelled and someone else grab it and enter the result before you have managed to solve the issue.

I think they're better than the Gfk ones. The GFK survey is stupid.

So it's the same fee for a pretty much identical enquiry, but a better...easier survey. I'll do the ABAI ones, thanks! :)

Hello, could someone help me please. I'm supposed to do a telephone job today for TNS, on my visits page it says "Work pack sent" but haven't received anything yet. Is that normal? The call is meant to be made between 2-6pm.
    Thanks isi
