Hello, could someone help me please. I'm supposed to do a telephone job today for TNS, on my visits page it says "Work pack sent" but haven't received anything yet. Is that normal? The call is meant to be made between 2-6pm.
    Thanks isi

Check your junk mail - sometimes the work packs go there. If it's not there you need to contact you AM asap and get it re-sent.

Just call TNS and they'll resend it. I had this happen a couple of weeks ago. On such a short deadline I'd personally call rather than email. Unless it's one of the bank jobs that was changed...didn't they cancel some of those ?

I did one on Saturday and the drop down menus were blank - not showing up any options.

Left it for a bit then went back and started again, but the same thing was happening, so in the end I just made a note in the next comment box to explain, and sent it through.

Not heard anything back from them..................yet!!
Yes there were lots of sections that couldn't completed, I just did the bits that I could (which still were quite long, so could definitely cover all elements of the shop). It submitted OK.

I did some at the weekend, I found that if you went to the page with the blank boxes, saved it (obv it showed you had errors) then went back to the previous page, clicked 'next' to go again to the page with the boxes - this time the choices in the boxes were visible.

Took me ages to find this out though.

it's definitely not in my junk mail folder. Have emailed the AM but will call soon if I don't get a reply.

Yes Duchy, it is a bank job - didn't realise that they had been cancelled. How would I found out if it has?

Sorry to be thick, I've never done any jobs for TNS, don't want to mess up the first one.

Obviously a problem with the questionnaire then - it wasn't just me!

I did the same as you - managed to cover everything in the rest of it and made a note in the comments boxes about parts being blank, and it submitted OK.

Thanks for your advice Leila - as it went through I think everything should be fine though.

There was a mass email circulated last night from TNS about these. The brief had changed significantly from when the jobs were first advertised, so a lot of us don't qualify (or don't want to pretend) for the situation. Also, if you had more than one job for each of the banks they would have automatically been cancelled.

    Best give them a call

Reimbursement but to keep track of the actual amount it's probably worth your time to creating another column for paid mileage.

I think the questions asked were quite poor and sometimes a little ambiguous. E.g. Why did the MOS recommend that? Erm, shouldn't you ask them not me?
