Bare have baffled me-or maybe I'm just been thick this morning.
I have a apply for a card in a store job for them and can't for the life of me find the letter to print out to halt the card application when I reveal. Anyone else got it and can shed some light before I have to leave for the day ?

There's a link in the notes. Click on that and the letter should appear. Any problems PM me and I'll e mail it to you.

    My understanding is:

You don't pay tax on the food and drink as it's not "goods" per se.
I doubt the haircut would be taxable either.

As for normal purchases, I wonder if we destroy the goods, we've not kept them, so surely wouldn't be taxed...? ;-)
If you answer questions on the quality of the item MSed such as hair cut, meal etc then it is non taxable.

If its groceries you have to buy to assess the quality of service and you keep the groceries but don’t answer questions on their quality then these items are taxable.

As a very wise person on this thread once told us (Mr T was it you?) by giving these items to charity (which we all do, don’t you??????) then you don’t get the benefit of them and therefore are tax deductible as well.

UKM should this be another button on your whizzy spreadsheet for charitable donations?
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

I've recently joined grassroots, but they don't ever seem to have anything available in my area - has anybody else found that at all?

I waited about 3 months before I saw any jobs with GR. My own personal theory is that they work on some sort of rota system and you just have to wait to get added into the next rotation, and once you're in the rotation you see jobs regularly. Lots of people complain about not seeing jobs for the first couple of months, so that's what I think is happening!

They don't have a lot in my area either, but I think some people on here do get regular work from them. When I joined it was about 3 months before I saw my first job, and about 6 months before I was quick enough to accept it before anyine else!
