Just grabbed 2 coffee jobs from GAP. Not done these before...do they automatically send the correct equipment to me or do I have to do anything??
If you can see the coffee jobs then they have set you upon the program and your equipment should be arriving soon!

Wow ... thanks for super fast replies. Thanks for all your advice, it's very much appreciated.
Have you got any good excuses for leaving at the end of the negotiation without buying? Today I followed brief ... I'm ready to buy NOW etc but could do with some more believeable excuses to leave.
    Thanks again!

It is really hard leaving sometimes, I feel so guilty and in a couple of cases almost had to run out of there. :o

Excuses that I have tried - make an appointment to come in tomorrow with partner (this was yesterday when I was struggling to get away), need to go and pick my kids up, am meeting someone in a minute, just not sure / cold feet.

Feel bad, but guess they fib to people all the time to get sales, so we shouldn't feel too awful giving them a taste of their own medicine. It's a bit easier with the scrappage scenario, as you don't have the car with you, so would have to come back anyhow.

Great...the jobs are next friday I hope I get it by then. Its the 1st time ive been able to see these jobs. Do you think I should email them?
also I remember reading that if you dont do a coffee job for 3 months you have to return the equipment...is this at my expense?

It is hard when you've been badgering them to lower and lower the price ... but the fee just isn't enough to buy a new car in every showroom! I'm going to do the 'pick my kids up excuse' tomorrow. Also, might hurry them up a bit in giving a final price.

Hope everyone has fun tomorrow, I always say I'm off to disappoint more car salesman when I'm out to do these shops. :rotfl:

Just playing devil's advocate, doesn't "i have to pick my kids up" sound a bit weak; i.e. you'd have known this before you went in so saying you want to buy NOW is a little strange....

Perhaps you could start sneezing and saying how your whole family have come down with swine flu? That'll even get the salesperson to help you out!

I'm so glad I don't do these ones, I'd have about 5 new cars on credit if it were me, I'm too weak! I did once come out of a garage with a new car and £9,500 poorer than when I went in, having had no intention of buying a car in the first place.... not an MS though :rotfl:

Did anyone apply for the flights next weekend on Bare? Do you think they'll take the job down off the website when they're assigned, or will I have to look at them all week and pine? :)
