No, there are some showing for tomorrow. Wish they hadn't released them so late tho, as I've just been out today and drove past one of them without even knowing

Ooops sorry Nads, all the ones I checked were for today on one client but have checked the other client now and some of those are for the coming week.
  • If theres some for this weekend that you could do next weekend it may be worth emailing Gap, Ive done that and got 4 assigned for next weekend.

Is it really worth doing the gap petrol jobs? All the ones showing for me are not reimbersing your full purchase amount!

Whilst that is true, you would otherwise have to put that petrol/diesel in your car anyway, so you're actually getting £8.00 (or £10.00 depending on which flavour of petrol!!) of free petrol, and by the time you drive there and print out the instructions, you've made a paper loss which you offset tax with.

So, to some it is worthwhile... Myself included!

I can see your point, but Gap usually have a ridiculous questionaire to fill in afterwards, I'm sure this client is no different LOL

Hey ho, might do one just to get some free petrol :T

Just wondering if anyone has managed eight showrooms on a car circuit in one day?
    Is it possible?
    Thanks for your help!

I managed it, hard going but worth it as 60 mile round trip otherwise.

I've 11 to do next weekend, hoping to do 7 on day 1 & the rest on Sunday.

I think 8 is quite do-able, depending on how far apart they are. I did 7 in a day on the last car circuit, and 7 this Saturday, plus a catalogue shop. If I hadn't stopped in to see my sister en route, then I could have done at least 2 more I reckon. The first 3 were miles apart, got stuck in traffic, was bit of a nightmare. The next 4 were closer together, and fairly straightforward.

I take a picnic and just keep trailing between them until they are shut for the day (check on the internet which ones shut late and then you can leave this til last). Both times when I've done 7, I've set off first thing and kept going til after 4pm.

Some of them only take 5 minutes, but they can take more than an hour, if you have to wait to see someone, and they take ages 'talking to their manager', giving you the hard sell etc.

Make sure you print off the questionnaires and write them up as soon as you leave the garage, otherwise they all merge into one in your head.

I'm doing my final 4 tomorrow, plus a couple of other visits, will be relieved when they are done.

It is possible .... my first one was a circuit of 10 but one was closed down so therefore 9 visits. I had a 40 mile drive to get to the location initially so got there dead on 10 on a Sunday and got them all completed before 4.30pm . It took some doing it really did , my DH was driving so that helped and I did have to ring one back the next day and further negotiate but I managed them . Did have a splitting headache after though and wouldnt try and do them all again like that .

I was dreading this circuit of 12 but all have been fairly local well apart from 3 , one of which was 30 miles away but I have spread them out and still have 4 to do tomorrow, much less stressful .... !!!!

I think so as I am always putting petrol in my car , my main , but part time job, is courier work for DHL, hence using lots of petrol anyway, so whatever I can get back for fuel I will use anyway helps.
