  • Hi
quick question, I have sandwich shop to do for Gap, Can I buy an extra sandwich (without been reinbursed)? Or do I just have to buy one stipulated.
    Thank You
AFAIK you should just buy the stipualted sandwich so it shows a correct receipt which you will have to send them. But after you buy that just go and do separate order for the 2nd 1:D

Hope you get on ok! GAP can be quite funny about the smallest detail in my experience, so dont risk having anything else on the receipt. :D

I've just picked up a couple of clothes shops I've not seen/been offered before, perfect timing for pre holiday bits and bobs (the essentials are sorted bikinis x4 and flip flops for when the boat deck is hot but there are always little things you can use as well).
I've not seen clothes shops on GR :(

Has anyone done opticians on Tern, where they provide you with a prescription. As I don't have a problem with my eyesight they've provided me with one and I was going to do the job today, but I don't know what sort of glasses I would need. How do I go in looking for reading glasses and then find out my prescription actually says it's for long sighted vision or something?

It does talk in the brief that if you were thinking of vari-focals not to go for this option. I'm going to look a bit stupid going in and not knowing what I need glasses for aren't I? Does anyone on here know?

Alternatively if anyone who needs glasses know anything about their prescription, it says:

    SPH CYL AXIS Near-ADD
    R -0.50 -0.50 180.0 +2.00
    L -0.50 -0.25 55.0 +2.00

Does this mean I'm near sighted so have a prescription for distance?

    Hi,
I think that means you are slightly short sighted, so yes it is for distance. To put it in perspective (excuse the pun!), I have an SPH of -5.5 in both eyes and I can just about see the end of my own nose!
    Hope this helps,
    Dee

I saw them, but they require you to make a purchase, which won't be reimbursed, and the fee is low by GR standards.

There wasn't an age range mentioned on the brief. It says to make an enquiry, try something on, then buy something (which you can return 'at your leisure'), all for around half the fee we were getting for similar jobs on Abai. But the ones in my area have gone, so guess they are worth it if you would be shopping there anyhow.

    Hi Josie,

I've just emailed you a copy of my prescription - it was quicker to do this than type it all out!!

I'm shortsighted & have pluses on mine, no minus signs, so don't know what you are supposed to be!!
    ;)
