    Morning all
I got a copy of the spreadsheet last night -and I love it. Spent ages playing with it-but I have a question. Mileage-I do most of my MSs by public transport-but it's looking like it makes more sense to claim the mileage amount for tax purposes overall rather than fares. Is this likely to give me any issues with the taxman as I don't currently own a car ?

I'm looking but can't find this spreadsheet, can someone post a link/pm me ?

    Hello

I'm new and just trying to sort out my paperwork. I too would be very grateful for any spreadsheets that are available as I do not have a clue what to do

    Thanks in advance

Phew. I logged on to write up yesterday's reports but thought I would just check what you lot of been upto and it's taken me ages to catch up on all yesterday's chat.

I see MCE are looking for more shoppers via their 'recruit a friend' - does anybody get much work from them? I had the hair cut a couple of months ago and two phone calls last month and haven't seen anything else.

see this link for the mileage amount for each type of transport.

doesn't seem right to claim this if you don't have a car but it's up to you if you want to do it.

I got that email, too, and thought it a bit odd - why on earth would I recommend anyone when I've never had a single job from them myself? :rotfl:

Whenever I log on it shows no jobs available.

The 40p covers fuel, wear & tear, insurance, oil etc. If you don't have a car then you clearly have none of those expenses to claim for!!
I'm sure you could get away with it, but the best thing to do would be to claim for the fares, then at least you have nothing to worry about if IR look into your accounts.

Ditto - nothing for me either. I did two coffee jobs for them in March but nothing since.

Yippe - a nice new thread - love the smilies BTW lol.

HP - it's an AmberArch job that I'm doing. They got back to me anyway so at least I know they reimburse everything. BTW when do they pay. First page says a few days after receiving the report. I did one for them about 2½ weeks ago but no payment yet. Should I drop them a line?

Oh fine Ellie. I have done that one too. You get reimbursed all your costs so don't worry. Funny I registered with AA but never get anything from them but get AA jobs via another company. Strange way to work.

And to heck with the credit crunch. Spent this weekend booking a holiday. Going next January to a cruise from Sharm El Sheikh, cruise to Luxor, Jordan (Petra) and Cairo. On a luxury cruise ship. Ooohhh the food. The buffet is open 24 hours a day.
Then a nice week in Sharm at the Jaz Mirabel.

I hate January anyway. Xmas is past and summer is so far away.
